Praying for our kids. May they learn God wisdom and be able to discern truth from lies and be grounded in Christ with deep roots and not just shallow rocky ground.

May God place in them a desire to study and understand His WORD and truth and that we as parents can help them move closer to God.

Peace love and truth from our God unto all that see and hear the truth, be not waivered in it as we can find the mind of Christ as we know how and when the tempter comes..

I pray for all to see him as he is be not afraid or make vain remarks that have no power. speak truth not what you think you know to be true, search the scriptures as in the is the key in all understanding in one accord.

Prayer that we listen twice as much as we speak and that God helps us all understand what our brothers and sisters in Christ try to say, that He gives us words to comfort them and draw them closer to God and His love.

It is fast approaching the Lenten season when Jesus was tempted in the desert by Satan.

Often Christian worldwide give up something in memory of what Jesus endured.

I don't think healthwise i could last 40 days without food and don't believe God is calling me to do that anyway.

We already have a Savior who has done that for us.

So instead I am going to use the time I normally spend on this site in the Bible discussion forum. In this forum in prayer.

Everyone is welcome to join me.

I typically love reading what others think of the Bible, trying to make peace, etc in the BDF but I feel called to stand in prayer for the Lenten season instead and trust it all to God's hands.

So I will begin the prayer vigil in my next post.
Need to remind myself of this and stay out of the BDF.

My sense of peace tends to leave when I read too many of those threads.

Why is it that folks are more likely to misunderstand what you say and snap at you in that forum then any other, God? Or is it in all forums and I just haven't noticed it?
