I've already been forced out of one home after my mother died; now with the death of my father, I will be out of this one before week's end. I will be living with an aunt until I can find my own place, and so far, there has been no help in finding housing. I live on mere food stamps, have no job, want more so to be self-employed so I can have my own place. Please, please, please pray that things somehow, some way, be turned around - I'm in need of a turnaround in my so-called life. I feel like the widow woman in 1 Kings 17 - she and her son were going to eat their last meal and die.

You are certainly in a very bad way. I have prayed for God to help you in your hour of need.

Let me also state for the record - I am extremely self-sufficient even if one of the areas is not in terms of finances. I prepare my own meals. I clean. Until the money ran out, I even paid the bills. Given the provisions I'm asking God for, I will be able to do the latter all over again many times over. I once had dreams of a better life; I ask that those dreams now be rekindled and fulfilled

If your business was going to be successful, you would be with some money by now. (I've read your past posts.) I do get that finding a job was so hard that it didn't seem worth it, but something has changed. We have a new President. The market is jumping through the roof, which means finding a job is easier now. Business has confidence in growing again.

You made a decision three years ago that you would start you're own business. It takes roughly 7 years to establish a business, but at year three you should at least have some money coming in. How about putting God first again, and doing what he wants you to do, instead of what you want to do?

Now, also, you aren't noticing something. You have been down and out for three years, at least, now. No money, and yet a place to live, food, and family. This is God taking care of you. This is divine providence, and yet you're still stuck on what you will do. Be grateful. He really has taken care of you. He still is.

Now, since you haven't had a job in at least three years, you will have to be creative in finding a new one. Volunteer. You're a member of a church. Ask the pastor which organizations could use some help. Soup kitchens? patients needing rides for appointments? Visiting the sick? What does your church do? Then help them. And while helping, let people know you need help too. First, it gets you out of your rut of only seeing what you need, and second ministries are always keeping their ears open for the very people they're trying to help. They learn who is willing to put in the effort and who isn't. And then they help those who are putting in the effort. It's called "networking." It's also called, "Love one another."

You're waiting for a miracle from God when he has been giving you them nonstop for three years. People are waiting for you to be their miracle from God.

That business didn't last three years. It didn't even last three months—I shut it down after only two. Why did I open it in the first place? It was through a free affiliate program—and who turns down any offer that costs nothing? If I missed God's will in that regard, I'm very sorry, even if I haven't posted it here.

Perhaps you're right about me speaking to ministers/other members - some of them have testified that they have been through what I'm going through now. So far, the only thing I have considered myself guilty of is keeping silent.

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them [those who deny that Jesus is from God and who have the spirit of the world], because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
