hey everyone! I have a prayer request! I've been friends with this guy for about five years now. When we were in High School I always tried to get him to go to church/youth group with me. I tried talking to him about God, but he would always change the subject or give me one word responses. Well, we kind of lost touch for about a year or so when I went away to college. Well a few weeks ago we had a chat on facebook, and he was going through a hard time. This was the first time I had talked to him in about a year. I brought God into the conversation...and he didn't change the subject! He actually talked back and told me he didn't mind talking about it! So we had a nice chat, & I told him I would pray for him and check back with him. Well, I prayed for him every night...and I prayed that he would know that if he needed someone to talk to, he could come to me. Well, about a week later...guess what? He started talking to me because he was really hurting that day. (answered prayer? I believe so :) ) So, that was a few weeks ago and I have been praying for him since. Well, the other night I invited him to church with me. At first he said he would consider it, but then right away he said "i'll go when I'm done with school."

So this is my request, please pray that he goes! He is done with school around June 10th....so if some of you could try to keep him in your prayers from now until then, I would greatly appreciate it!!!! He has a past of just telling me what I want to hear sometimes. But I know that God and the power of prayer is bigger and it can get him to church! So, please pray for him!!! His name is Josh! Sorry this was so long :)
