Desperately need prayer

I'm lost and need Jesus but I don't feel he's there so it's hard to have faith i need gods help and guidance I've lost everything and want to give up on life I have no purpose anymore it seems please pray for me

Aboulutely. Jesus loves you so much. He has such a great purpose for your life. I have known depression myself; I used to be so araid of hell. Have you ever asked Jesus to save you and received him into your life as Lord and Savior? If not, you can pray with me, " Lord Jesus, I am a sinner in need of your salvation. I believe you are who you claimed to be -God in the flesh and I know you died for my sins, and rose again by the power of God. I choose to turn away from my sins and follow you Jesus. Save me Lord Jesus. Thank you that you hear me when I pray . In Jesus name I pray it all, Amen! And then I would advise you to find a mature Christian to lay hands on you that you may receive the Holy Spirit and then open your mouth and try and speak in different tongues. That's how it happened for me. I had a hard time calling God Father until I asked someone to pray for me to receive the Holy Spirit. I wasn't really seeking tongues at the time, just the Holy Spirit, but I gave tongues a try. And ever since I was prayed for in May 2012 to receive the Holy Spirit, I could call God Father. Often times in the book of acts the Spirit was giving through the laying on of hands and when they received, they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

I have prayed for you Bryson. Are you born again, have you give all of your life to Jesus, have you surrended every area to Him.I went through something like you are going through, and I felt like God was not near me, it scared me as it made me feel like i was a phoney, but i kept reading the word untill something touched my heart, it may of been a line of Scripture or a verse, and then gradually over time thing`s started to make sense to me like making a jigsaw and building a picture. Don`t give up, what I found very helpful was having a journal , writing little Scriptures down then re-reading them in times of doubt, i also journal through out my day thanking God for all that He has done and continues to do.You must read the Bible as it is your Spiritual food, just like we need to eat food to stay alive physically, we need our daily bread to nourish our Spiritual needs. Don`t be alarmed,that`s what the devil want`s, he want`s you to feel as if God is not there with you, you HAVE to put on your armor suit on every day, if we were not to wear it then God would not of said to put it on. God gives us all the faith we need, but we have to do our part, Read Ephesians 6:10-17 Also Jesus said : Come to Him, cast ALL your cares, give Him ALL your burdens, and He will give you rest :. So with your feeling`s right now, give ALL your cares and anxiety to Him, and rest in His love. I hope this helps to ease your worried mind. God bless you.

Also the Bible says " God is near to the broken-hearted and saves those crushed in Spirit" Jesus also said " Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven" I believe despite the pain you are in now, you are in a good place. Trust in Jesus alone for your salvation. May God bless you and infuse you with hope now and in the future. God loves you do much and he is near you even though you may not feel it. God likes to work things out for our good. It is amazing for instance what I had to go to go through to meet and know some people whom I love now. God likes to work behind the scenes of our life's to work out even the messy and ugly for our ultimate good.
