My dad applied to long term disability, and it was recently given back. Why? Because dad's oncologist suggested that dad actually is fit enough to go to work. Dad is not fit physically, especially on his chemo days, and definitely not mentally nor emotionally. Please, please pray for him. He's sick, has no sick time, and he needs his disability to be able to heal.

He he needs to heal, please pray for him.

That's terrible :(. I'll definitely be praying! God sees everything, He never leaves us on our own.

e. Aching of lower back up to 4 days after infusion

g. Shaking and tingling of hands
h. Smelling the chemo/chemicals while they’re being sweat out
i. Taste changes
i. Medicine-like taste
ii. Sweet things taste off
j. Headache
k. Needs to be on a set schedule for food and drink during/after chemo

My parents are freaking each other out I should say. Dad is angry, mom is now angry and they're hilariously angry and I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to do here

They're a bit calmer now, but they're definitely hot. Like talking about malpractice liability speaking hot.

There is an assessment tomorrow for dad, on his weakest day, about whether he needs his disability or not. He does. He can't work. But they want to put it that he can. And he cannot handle the stress of this. Please pray that Gods will be done. If nothing else I will go with him to work as support.

At this point dad seems calmer but worried. He can't sleep well right now due to stress. I don't know what I can really do for him but pray

From all the reports I hear, he's good back to work. Literally he's been trying to tell them he shouldn't and their response was "if you are dissatisfied with your care go elsewhere." Can I scream?

A second opinion is often recommended. Is it possible? Prayers for your mom and dad...

Listen, I realize this may be terrifying to hear and totally insensitive about what the doctors did however, his employer may be more than understanding and may be able to adjust things to make things work. It's hard to let go of something and someone who is very important to you, but once you do it allows God to have full control and God would never put you or your loved ones in a circumstance that he knows yall couldn't manage....hes wonderful that way :)

tell your dad to get a lawyer. there is no getting anything now a days with out a lawyer seriously..... most lawyers will do cases with no upfront costs he would only pay if he wins and they take the fees out of settlement.
