You might want to humble yourself before the Lord and seek His direction in all this and don't just assume that what you want is what God is wanting to do right now in your life.

When the two make one in any fashion, wink wink, that establishes an eternal spousal relationship. Marriage is just a public confession of this relationship, thus it's not valid until consummated. The paper may say married, the paper may say divorced, but in God's eye you're still and always will be spousal.
