Hi, my husband gets really angry when I don't hear him properly. I wear hearing aids and if the music is on and he's talking I don't hear what he's said. Today he wanted some chocolate from shop, I came back and he said he asked for a crunchie bar. He went mad, he got a very short fuse. He even carried it on in the house and said I was thick. He said he would screw my ear up, and shouted right near my face. I hate him at times. He embarrassed me. I know he's got cancer but I'm not being afraid of him. Yes just lately maybe my hearing is bad. But there's no excuse for nastiness. Prayers he sees his anger issues and sees a deaf person. My dad is deaf he's got a cochlea implant in his brain. I'm moderate deaf. I couldn't be nasty like that but he carries it on.

Oh, dear. Communication is always difficult in times of trouble. And when a person in full of his or her own problems it is easy to lose temper and patience. Impairment will just add to the trouble. My husband didn't cope with my disability. Instead he got a diagnosis of his own and blew it out of proportions, poor soul. I can only say that being yelled at for something that is out of your control is an awful feeling. It feels discriminating and unfair. I prayed for spiritual protection from my husband's rage. That helped. I didn't get broken down every time. Sister. I pray for you and with you. My marriage didn't last. I hope and pray yours will.

Forgive me God today, illness makes others bitter sometimes. I pray that you bring Rod into your arms. I pray he finds peace from his suffering. At times I feel he's on the edge and only just here. Father please bring peace upon Rod, that's my prayer tonight. Amen
