Hi levi,
I also live in a country that alternates between hot and wet/rainy season. Although we do not have it as hot as in larger land areas i understand, we esp who are getting old-), probably experience more discomfort when it is extremely hot. Strive to drink enough and perhaps more, bringing with you a water bottle whenever possible. Monitor your water intake, for we may not be drinking enough but think we are. I observe people, my hubby, kids, in-laws, others sometimes and see they get a glass to drink, but never finish it, and may not really be that aware that they are not drinking as much as they need. I pray you also find other means to fill up and not be dehydrated thru juices, juicy fruits and veggies, others.
Oh, and if i may add, you can remind your dear wife too, for breastfeeding demands more water intake. Dehydration in a breastfeeding mom is common, so always have some water or other liquid near where she breastfeeds, for it is not convenient to get up when ur thirsty and the baby is feeding.
