2 CORINTHIANS 6;14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers; for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 17.Wherefore come out from among them,and touch not the unclean thing,and I will receive you. 18;And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters , saith the Lord almighty. If this is in your own household,then move,and if this is among friends and relatives.,part ways with them. show them who you love the most. this might be a case of controlling the tongue. fowl language coming out of the same mouth that blessings come out as well.

My dear you can beat this, I live in a very un Christ like home filled with the worst potty mouths I have ever met, I mean the vulgar language and sexual remarks and jokes are gross and relentless and I have no where else to go plus they are family so I can't just leave them because in my books you don't give up on family.
I am constantly in the line of fire of all this however it cannot effect me when I turn on my Christian music and spend time with God, I hate the fact that I live in such an environment but the good thing is that it built me to be tough and able to learn how to block it out and not let those words affect my heart

everyday I see things I don't like, its like people are hell bent on destroying their lives and others. I see a broken world and a violent world. I get anxious at times, but we can only do our best in life, this life will pass, and the next life will be different. my loved ones are poorly in the family, and so is my husband, I have no idea how long they have left, my aunty in hospital with sepsis. ,my husband with cancer which is awful, my mother in law poorly, but all we can do is pray for those we care about. Its easy to become angry ourselves and swear because of others, but God knows our real intentions, he knows our nature.

So sorry about this. Have you tried calmly stating you would appreciate them not using that type of language around you? It is okay to state your needs with others. If they refuse, perhaps you can limit the interactions with them. Keep in mind that when we become Christians, it is not an instantaneous conversion. It takes time and old habits die hard. Pray for them to work on removing this habit. Each time I've put someone on a pedestal, I've been disappointed in them. Sometimes reminding myself that Christians are still fallible people helps me to forgive their sin and continue loving them as Jesus does. Prayers for strength for all involved and for resolution.
