My father is 89 years old, and has never been hospitalized until recently. He suffered a perforated bowel two weeks ago. After a very successful rehab, he went home last week. Last night his incision was oozing, but he ignored it. My brother had visited him earlier in the day and noticed he wasn't feeling well. He intuitively stopped by to check on him at 10pm (I believe it was the Holy Spirit prompting him) and found him on his bed with his incisions oozing and he was feverish. Took him to the hospital, where they caught the infection just in time.

Please pray for healing and good health, thank you my friends.

Thank you, Lord, for being able to give a little shove to Didy's bro to take care of Didy's dad.

Now, I ask that the antibiotics work and that DaddyDidy learns from this. May we all learn from this.

Amen.

Thank you for your kind consideration. According to his doctors, he is well enough to continue his recovery at home. I'm worried about that, as he has never had to take care of himself- he is a man who has spent his life caring for others, and he is not receptive to getting help from his family. Today I saw a marked improvement in his attitude- I'm cautiously optimistic. Thank you very much, and no you are not being nosy!

My mind will not be at ease until he is completely well. He's 89, and the epitome of health. We (he and I) have come to the realization that he is human, and at some point he will be slowing down. He wasn't taking it very well, but today he seems happy. I had him out in his yard, looking at the garden. That was good. Thank you for praying!

Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness.
