Please pray for my mom she has had a hip surgery and she is convinced she is dying I am at a loss for what to do and only God can help her now shes kicking me out on a regular basis. I am all torn up inside and I hate this. I know that shes angry and hurt but I don't know how to help her.

Lord we pray for Iris2004, let you heal her and bless with a good health. Let you calm down her, and let her attitude be with love and care for Iris2004. we pray let guide Iris2004, to be a blessing to her mom. Lord please bless Iris2004 and her mom In Jesus Holy name, Amen!

Will be praying that your mom can accept her situation.
It'll pass. I'll also pray for you. Be patient and "go with it".
Don't fight her.
Time will heal her emotional upset I believe...

I’m so sorry to hear about your situation, girl. I know how painful it must be for you to see your mom go through this. I just said a prayer for her, asking the Lord to touch her with His healing hand and surround her with His strength and comfort. He is even more concerned than we are and is able to work mightily in the lives of our loved ones in answer to earnest prayer. Stay strong. Grace and peace to you!

Hi Iris, Sorry you are going through this tough time. Your mom may be depressed. Maybe you could remind her of some of God's promises and just be there to support and listen. My mom was 85 when she broke her hip. She had lived alone and was independent but while in rehab she got a bit down and the staff saw her as a weak old lady so they didn't push her. My sister and I had expectations she would live independently again. I listened to her, but did not feed into her thoughts. She thanked me later and said I was her coach. She was a believer so I was able to tell her God had plans for her and that even though she was feeling pain, felt weak etc. tomorrow would be better. She lived to age 92. Lord, use this time to show Iris' mom you are in control and only you can bring her true joy in the midst of hard times and give Iris wisdom to know how she can be used.
