My Dad fell off the roof putting up siding and crushed two vertebre in his back and one in his neck. He had intense surgery today and it will take a while before he heals. Please pray because he's our breadwinner...this is very bad for my family.

Oh DZ, Im so sorry. Ive had back surgery twice so I know what he is going through.
Your dad and all of your family are in my prayers .

Praying for him. My dad has fallen 48 foot and broke his back. He's fallen off towers. The last time that he fell, it was 10 foot. That fall broke his femer bone, ankle, crushed his wrist. My dad has broken almost every bone in his body. I can understand what you and your family are going through

how's ur dad doing now? My dad fell into a big drain late last year and we near lost him. But lots of prayer and support from the family helps him recover. Now he starts going back to church. It's a blessing in disguise and God is Good !

My dad is doing really great! Sorry I haven't been on lately, I actually do have to take care of him. Honestly it's been sort of a blessing in disguise. I never reallly had that much of a relationship with my reserved quiet father. Being around him forced him to talk to me (hahah!) and I feel like we have a connection now of some sort after 10 years of barily saying two words to eachother.

His spine is healing, he's now walking with a cane but he can't do steps very well. Please keep him in your prayers.

Thankyou for the update, you are right, in everything there is a blessing.
When I had a shattered disk , it took about 4 weeks before I could even lift my leg, it sounds like you dad had a serious back injury.
Make sure he dosnt rush things, Im sure you are makeing sure of this though. smiles
