Praying for the end of America's Largest Pagan Cult festival.
Lord, I pray that through your mercy and grace that you will turn the hearts of your children back to you. Please put it into our hearts to humble ourselves before your judgment falls on us as a nation. Help us to seek your face and your ways. Touch our hearts and help us turn from the wickedness of the land. Help your people stand up for what is good and right. Help all of your people set apart some of their day to pray for their families, the nation and all your people. Amen.

Yeah it's kind of like hippie, crazy art, probably also drugs, and for some reason they burned a big giant dude shaped sculpture made I think of hay and stuff? It's really weird, and probably has some cult elements that people don't realize.

Think Rio's Carnival "Lite" without the organized parade. There may be a parade, though ;) It is more a spectacle of people parading about dressed in costumes and/or painted, or not wearing much of anything whatever (it is in the desert after all). They call it an experiment in community and art, exploring various forms of artistic self-expression, created in celebration for the pleasure of all participants. I have never been, but have printed pictures of it for many years.
