No friend

Very depressed. Lost my most meaningful friendship. Heading to bootcamp in a month. Very depressed about lost friendship though.

You've join the military? You will have ample opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people and form meaningful friendships. Sorry about losing your friend but there will be others.

Lord, thank You that You are the Friend who clicks closer than a brother. I pray You would be the constant Rock that will fellowship with this person's soul to give them peace and rest. I pray for peace and forgiveness for past relationships and trusted Christian friendships in the new places this person is headed. I pray for protection, salvation, and hope for the future. I am so sorry to hear that you lost a friendship. Loss can be really challenging, especially as you are going through other big life changes! I am proud of you for how you are serving our country. THANK YOU! I pray that you will be able to use this next month as a time of grieving and healing before you take you next step. I will be praying for you, that bootcamp will be a positive time in your life and that meaningful bonds will be created. God is sovereign and has a plan with all of the hurts. Sorry to hear about the loss of a friendship especially if it was a meaningful one. Romans 8:28 says "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." While the loss is really unfortunate and sad, I would like to encourage you to fix your focus on Jesus. Too many times, if we fix our gaze too much on our pain, we lose sight of God. Jesus Christ is in you and is with you forever. That is one Friend you can count on anytime and anywhere for He will never leave you no matter where you go. Give thanks to God for that as He will help you through your time of need.
