My husband and I have been struggling to pay our bills .And now our truck needs breaks an roters .. I need prayers that we find the funds .. I pray to God that he helps us thru these troubling times.. My husband would turn to his Dad for help.. But we lost him to cancer last year... My husband been looking for a better job.. I've been asking to work more shifts at my job .. But I need to remember the blessings I do have .. That there are others that have greater needs than me.. My prayers are with the families devastated by hurricane Harvey, Irma ....

Hi Steph I know the struggles you face very well, for the past two years my family and I have been in all out fight against financial struggles o much so that a lot of times we have only canned vegetables and maybe some bread to eat but we have air conditioning electricity internet working water and gas and in all honesty though food is very scarce these days and I mean scarce lol I am grateful to be going through this because in doing so I have learned the value of the things people take for granted. Another thing I am grateful for is how I am always saying how i am willing to give money to people but that was truly tested when even ten dollars is all I have for the rest of the month and yet I am willing to give it for someone who needs it even if that means I have nothing left for food.
Granted I am not so bad off that I am starved or anything but when canned vegies and bread is mainly your only source of food money for actual food because that much more valuable even a honey bun from the general store that is 99 cents because a treasure. We also have been so close to losing the house several times that we had go to the extremes just to save it but it was in this time that I gained an understanding of the little things.
I will be asking God for your financial issues but I said all this to let you know that you are not alone and that there are those who truly understand what your going through

When I started family with my late husband, I was so depressed with our poor financial situation. We borrowed money to buy a house and had no money for furniture. We slept on floor and ate sitting on stairs with a carton box as table. I was frustrated, but my husband was optimistic. He held my hands and said,"Baby, look, we have hands, we can build a beautiful home and beautiful lives together." It's true, he planed our lives very well. He did 2 jobs at that time and decorated our house all by himself with a little help from me. In 10 years, we totally changed our lives, he got promoted and I got my PHD.we are not struggling with financial problems anymore.
Please keep working, plan well and try all your best to get a better life. I believe you will make it.

So sorry for your "storm". And thank you for the prayers as I had family affected by Harvey. However, that does not lessen the stress you are under. Sounds like it's been tough for you. Waiting on God's timing can sometimes get us down. But if we are faithful He will provide, and often in unexpected ways. Keep persevering and trusting. Romans 8:28!
