Hello everyone,

i could go into a long long story about how I made it to the place I'm at now, but I'd just like to ask for prayer. I feel that I'm in a very dangerous place spiritually, and I don't want to go down the wrong road. I'm actually really involved in my church, but I feel that everything is falling apart and i'm gonna just blow away. Ultimately, I know God is going to do what He is going to do. I'm just hoping things don't turn out as I've been thinking :/

Lord, please make it obviously evident to Aephus that you are always sovereign, always for him, always with him, even when things do fall apart, even when we don't feel it, and even if you have to take us where we do NOT want to go. And keep hitting him with you so he clings to you like Velcro without ever noticing you have him firmly protected clinging to him with your Super(natural) Glue.

Amen.

Aephus? Been where you are now often enough. The circumstances are very likely different, but been there just the same. God keeps us secure. He orchestrates everything, even the bad stuff, to the benefit of his kids. When all else fails, just take the time to notice that, because, yeah, they're really are times we have to go through some really crappy things.

BUT we do not go alone. The Light is always with us. Always, always, always. Not because of what we do. But he gave us his sovereign promise and keeps it.

You're young. (Not saying you're a kid. I think 50 year olds are young, yet not kids too. lol) Look to your past and see where God helped you when you didn't even notice. Use that stuff as a beginning point for a mental scrapbook. Then every time God does something for you that you didn't even notice was him working it out, until "it" is over, put that memory into your mental scrapbook. Why? Because he really does always keep his promises, but when we're in the middle of full-panic mode, we tend to not notice and think God abandoned us. That is the time to bring out the mental scrapbook. So you can see he's always been there.

We still have to go through some terrible things in our lives, but we begin to realize we're not alone and it is for our good -- because he promised!

I’m sorry to hear that, Aephus. Please know that I’ll be praying for you, asking the Lord to draw you closer to Himself and to guide you in His ways. Never forget that trusting Jesus and staying close to Him is the most important thing you can ever do. He wants to be your closest friend, and has promised never to leave you or to stop loving you. Stay strong in Him. May He bless you in a special way.

Ask God for help. We are made strong in his strength, when we are weak in ours. You are weak, but when you have the creator of the universe on your side, you're as strong as can be! Do not let the enemy win. Use the word as your sword and shield. God bless you brother...I'll be praying for you.
