I have not had a church home for 20 years or more. I have always talk to God throughout my life even when I know I was wrong for things. I take everything to [prayer even tissue lol} Well, I finally joined a church God showed me in signs and then I asked him God it's an African church; I like all churches can I join diffrent, more than one church? Well God told ME yes! I said now God I know people are going to condemned that Idea especially pastors which has happened yesterday and last weekend I'm on church 2 would of been a 3 but they told me I can't join because it was a homecoming with the main church lol So then I said ok then I'll do a rededication for the witness of the church so in a way I still joined theirs too lol:) so what do you all feel please speak freely. I will join every church that GOD wants me too. Amen.

Not really a fitting section to post this in. This area is for people requesting prayer.
But you said "join" more than one church. By join do you mean attend or become a member?
Church membership isn't really biblical. But attending more than one church is never mentioned. I think because what church is now is not the same as in bible days.
Not only did l attend two churches I used to be in leadership roles in both.
Doubtful many will have a problem with it, but there's always a few.

We worship God, not the church organization. For some reason churches frown on being a member of multiple churches. But I don't see the harm. It seems to me like it would be a good thing for a person, if belonging to two churches would somehow help that particular person get closer to God.

Churches are usually in need of volunteers to run it. Have you found a way to serve God in the church by volunteering? I think you will find great blessing in doing this. I have known people who serve in one church and attend a different church.

I don't see a problem with going to a variety of churches. Just be sure to look into their doctrine. What do they believe? Does it line up with Scripture? Consider also how people act during the services. Is it a wild and chaotic environment or is it very serious or is it a relaxed atomosphere? Listen to the pastor. Does the pastor sound prideful or humble? Is he quoting Scripture? Does the context of the Scripture he is quoting match what he is preaching? What is the general attitude of the congregation? Are they loving and welcoming?

sometimes it is best to just fellowship with those whom you feel
most comfortable with - help each other 'Spiritually'...
if one can find this, then why seek something else?

in all of 'both' of our years, we have never known anyone
who went to more than one church at a time, but we have
know many who 'shuffle' from one church to another, never
seeming to find what they are looking for...
