Hello friends.

My problems are small in comparison to those of many others on the board here, but they're causing me and others a whole lot of stress. God has blessed me with an extremely fortunate life, but I'm just seeking direction as my future is looking a bit murky.

My fiance and I are getting married in September. The problem is that we live in different countries. I live in Australia and she lives in America. We are both willing to move to eachother's countries, but there are just so many problems with both options, and we can't actually find any options at all that are feasible or even possible. Things like visa regulations, jobs, family, money and moving pets are all conspiring against us to make us living together as a married couple in the same country seem impossible. We really don't know what to do.

I just want to do what God wants me to do, and be wherever God wants me to be. Can you please pray for direction in the lives of my fiance and myself.

Thank you

if you truly Love Jesus, then you automatically have FAITH - use it, honor it,
believe in it, and live it 'day-by-day', and don't try and project your future,
for if you truly Love And Serve And Obey Him, He will always guide and place you
just where He wants you...

You know maybe your forgetting more important things here, sacrifice and comprimise.
First what are you guys willing to give up for each other? What can you guys take with you?

Here is a little something to help you out.

1. Talk to your pastors for advice.
2. Look at US Visas and Austrailian Visas.
3. Decided which one would be most realistic to obtain.
4. Who has the best situation?
(The best situation is not just the most money and best living accomidations.)
Look at political situations of both countries, look at the consititutions, look at the things you both
find important, like healthcare, education, security (lowest crime rate.) Economics (highest easiest to find work)
etc...
5. decided what is important, kind of important and not important.
6. Look at the cost of shipping goods and animals to each others countries as well as carry on conditions and air fare.
Good idea to figure out what its going to cost for you or her to move, plus the items you intend to take with you.
Any thing you can't take you have to figgure out if its worth keeping or getting rid of, Smaller things you could probably
get away with having a relative mail to you, if you don't mind waiting for it.
7. What country should the wedding occur? it's a big descision chances are not every one you want at the
wedding will be able to attend depending on where it is.
8. look at the things you will need to obtain citizenship. (it would suck to get married and then torn apart because the papers expired because you didn't give yourself enough time to finalize everything.
9. What are the rules about children? I assume it's like Canada where every one born here is granted automatic citizenship,
how ever I am not and expert and I could be wrong.

I hope this helps you.
