I've been a christian for a little over 2 years now, i came from drug addiction and psychological issues, I've come far and i feel i am close to breakthrough for my depression and other psychological issues, i have social anxiety and it's hard for me even to ask for prayer online semi anonymous, but am pushing through. i have financial issues and need healing for my panic anxiety disorder and also my depression (overall mental issues). i also want to meet the women of my life and have a better vision of whats to come in the future, what Gods plan is for my life.
thank you for reading, i hope i'll be able to socialize with people more online and perhaps start entering conversations here.

God Bless

Feel free to socialize and entering the conversation at any time. There are many types of forums and a considerable amount of threads on various topics with on-going discussion. Lady Blue wrote a good depression thread that you may want to check out. I have said a prayer for God to address your many issues but in the meantime stay as close to God as you can by praying, and reading and contemplating the Word of God as found in the bible. Glad to have you join us. Welcome to CC.

Good news. Online you aren't semi-anonymous. You're completely anonymous. Or, as anonymous as you want to be.

(I'm a gabber and completely open on who I am, so lost anonymous intentionally. lol)

That said, since you can't afford help, how about going for the free kind? A mentor in your church. Someone you can check out, (quietly, because that sounds your style a bit.) And when you see someone who shows you want it is to be a Christian, ask him to help you? To guide you. To teach you.

If you're in a good church, there is a guy like that.

I too was into the drug thing when I was young. When I got out, (and I was stupid enough to get into after being saved, so don't count me as the bright one), I discovered something I didn't expect. I had little idea what in the world it was like to be "normal." To be a Christian. To live like I was supposed to live. And, since I was into drugs, can't say I was rich. (When you're in drugs, every spare coin goes to drugs, even some that weren't spare.) So I truly needed Christian women to teach me how to be both -- a Christian and a woman.

Brilliant! It worked. My pastor's wife and an elder's wife took me under their wings. And the funniest part is the same pastor was helping some guy I didn't know (yet) learn how to be a good Man of God through an elderly couple in the church. (Now I'm old enough to feel like I should call them "a younger couple." lol)

Ends up that couple was helping my future husband and I met them, they met me, and poof! He is the man I needed in my life.

All that for no money. Just the nerve to ask for help from obvious sources.
