My brother of only 41 took his last breathe Infront of me on Sunday of last week. He died of a rare cancer within a year of diagnosis. Me and him prayed so hard and put our faith in the lord and his favorite saint and they failed us. Plz tell me where God lives so I can go to his house and confront him. I have been very sick myself for a long time and never complained once about it to the Lord. Why has he taken the one thing I loved the most. My brother wanted to live so bad and fought so hard. I am not perfect but try to do the right thing. I do not want to die but death no longer scares me. The Lord has taken everything from me. I told my brother don’t worry I’m coming to him soon.

You make the mistake of thinking that the gift of healing means immortality on call. You also mistakenly believe that 'praying to your favorite saint' would stop the human condition. Death is a part of life, whether you are God's or not. To blame God for someone dying is wrong. Your pain is misplaced.

Look at it from your brother's point of view - right now he's partying before the throne of God ... I'm jealous, He's with God and I'm not. Throne Room envy I call it ;) But yeah, between a choice of being here or there, I'd definitely chose the there. Your brother IS in the better place. His life hasn't ended. It's only just begun!

Lord, we pray Paul's pain be tempered by Your love, and the assurance that those we love do await us in Your better place.

Amen
