I am regretting my decision of joining the military very very heavily....
It has gotten to the point I am contemplating about smoking pot and failing a drug test to get out....

I need prayers.... I don't want to explain what is going on, I just need prayer.....

I believe you can be discharged for depression, PTSD, and other anxiety disorders. Have you spoken to a military physician or chaplain? I'm praying for you, son.

Lord I ask that you make a perfect way for T_Laurich...you know his/her real name...that they would be placed exactly where you want them placed and protected by you no matter where they are. If you want T_Laurich out of the army I ask that the hearts of those in charge of the procedure would have softened hearts and that your hand would be on them when they allow him/her to leave. If you have a plan for T_Laurich in the army then I ask that you give him/her strength in this time. Let them overcome just as you have already won against the enemy for us when you died and rose again and the demons couldnt hold you down. I break off self sabotage in the name of Jesus and I speak healing over you in that place in the name of Jesus. Lord protect T_Laurich and let him/her be exactly where you want them to be. Let your ultimate plan come through in their life and let them see what youre doing and about to do. I thank you for your goodness Lord and I thank you that you fight our battles for us.

I think you explained your case very well, don't use deception to free yourself from this. Speak honestly with whomever you are in service too.

I will ask God to help you find a way to save face.

I don't know what's going on, yet I do know that sometimes we may not want to be somewhere in life, but it is exactly where God wants us to be. Give over control to God and pray for your commanding officers and pray for your enemies. You will be surprised as what God will do for you :)

Hi T_Laurich,
I will pray for you. I don’t know how the military recruitment works. It seems that once you are in, you are in for good. I don’t know if you prayed for it before you signed up or you just decided one day to do it, but God assures us that no matter what He will be with us. Have you considered that this may be happening because this is might be the only way to transform you, and that He has plans for you? Just like Joseph and Daniel, they got pushed in but remained faithful and discovered what the Lord planned for them all along. Thousands benefited from their trust in God. While we hear mostly horrible stories about military life especially from books and movies, and I am in no way downplaying their sacrifice, but certainly there are a lot more good stories. Some of those I know are among the best people around. I can only advise you to prepare yourself physically, mentally and spiritually to be the best you can be in there. I hope that this encourages you. And here is a website that might be helpful http://bit.ly/2CjBQYp.
