There are some peaceful Christian music and Psalm readings you can find online. Maybe putting on some headphones and resting in His Word will give you the refreshing sleep you need sister. Good Night!

You have friends right here, and can talk to us anytime. I pray you get a good night's sleep. I feel your pain. I have two young children, my youngest being 21 months old who still does not sleep through the night. On average she wakes up 2 to 3 times a night. Even if she doesn't wake up, I still continue to wake up every 2 to 3 hours. It can be debilitating and really messes with your mind when you have a lack of sleep. So I feel your pain. Lord please watch over our sister and comfort her so that she may get a good night sleep and much-needed rest. In Jesus name, Amen.

Praying for you to have a restful night of sleep! "God is Able" may help, too. http://amzn.to/2ora5Iq. Priscilla Shirer's book give wise advise on how to fight against those dreams and thoughts that wake us up in the middle of the night. You might want to check it out! Again, praying for your sleep and your family!

Try to relax... take a hot bath and a glass of wine, and turn off all computers and phones at least an hour before bed, because the bright lights will keep you up.

In England we have a drink called Horlicks, which really helps with sleep. I'm sure you can get it over there in NZ, or if not on amazon.

Prayer really helps. There were times I fell asleep mid prayer and felt guilty about it, but I ended up having a really peaceful sleep, and I know God had something to do with that :)

You could always read through all the "begats". That will probably work too :D

I know it sounds strange but try reading the Bible to some relaxing sounds. It’ll help you fall asleep and our prayers will help you stay asleep. Bless you.

Hello sister. First, please remember there are many caring Christian folks here that welcome a good chat, so I would ask you to feel free to talk to them, as many of them have been through similar situations.

This time of year, after being "cooped" up with the kids for months, I would find myself with a pretty strong case of "cabin fever". The only "cure" I could find (that I could afford) was to just bundle up the kids and spend a whole day outside. All the while I would keep reminding myself that spring was just around the corner.

The reasons we cannot sleep are just too numerous to mention, But there is one effective treatment.......trust in God. We cast all our worries and woes on Him with our faith in knowing He watches over us in all we do.

Father in Heaven, we pray for our sister, WKjmj. We ask that You would bless her with Your comforting hand and bring to her peace and rest. Quiet the restless spirit that weakens the body that she may know the "calm in the storm". Bless her little ones and keep them safe from all hurt or harm. And please remind us all that SPRING is just around the corner. We ask these things in the name of our Savior, who is Christ our Lord.......Amen.

Sometimes I awake and feel as though I just cannot go back to sleep. This has been happening occasionally for the past year maybe more. They say at my age this is common....73, who knows? No matter, what has worked for me is te just remain in bed, no matter how tempted I am to get up, and I pray and bless everyone while praise our Father for hearing the likes of me

Sometimes I go right to sleep but other times, I lay there "chattering" to our Father for a long time. Mantytimes thigns come to me from Him that I had never before considered, thinks I should have known for a long time yet they still come to me afresh.

Sometimes just making yourself stay in bed will do it. Sometimes I lay there for a couple of hours, but eventually I get back tosleep........oversleeping results too.

Now I am praying for you, because God is always there for us. Be certain not to eat too much too soon before ging to bed also. God bless you with reas and energy for the responsibilities you have. You are needed.

Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

Yes, I have already posted a reply here but something occurred to me due to a timely experience just yesterday.

I have been wanting a new mattress for several years now, but thinking the one I had was ok, I just kept putting it off.

Yesterday I bought a new mattress, a whopper of a mattress so thick, and very comfortable...firm.

Last night about 1:30 AM I had one of those "oh-I-am-never-going-to-get-back-to-sleep-experiences. Then I thought to myself, "what good is a new mattress if I am even more wide awake than other times?"

Well, that was one of th last thoughts I had before praying and beginning to bless people, when, wow, 6:30 AM came and my puppy awoke me. I usually sleep the latest until 5:30 or so. What a sound sleep I had.

Other benefits, my back was trying to go "out" before bedtime last night. Today it feels fine. The shoulder that awoke me so many times in the past feels better than ever this morning, and the sides of my ribs behind are not strangely aching.........you tell me.

Praise Jesus, Yeshua, for giving me the sense to get a good mattress. Yes, I had thought the old one was ding just fine......IT WAS NOT!

You may have a wonderful bed, so I am not belittling your sleep problem by suggesting this would help you, but, it could and it is my duty as a brother in Jesus to share this precious discovery with you dear one.

Please pray for me to have nice refreshing sleeps. I cannot stay asleep for more than 3 hours and I'm getting exhausted And very depressed. I have absolutely no friends to talk to. I'm worried for my kids please pray for blessing over them. Thank you.

Hello there! My prayers are with you. Take the help of a good book or listen to some silent music. I understand your situation completely, my mother was also suffering from a sleepless night few days back, because of which we have consulted doctors and therapist. Our therapist suggested maybe reading a good book or listening music will help. He also suggested us to get a natural latex mattresses palm beach county, which will also help in getting a good sleep.

This feeling is normal for all who believe, that is from time to time, and it demonstrates that this is notour home. When we realize this it is a good timeto lift our heads to our true Friend and praise Him for His love and all His promises to us...
