Lord,

I dont know why my prayers are unanswered,I dont know when they will be.
Im a good man with a mentally ill daughter. Im in a great despair. We need help, Ive asked for forgiveness and am thankful for what I do have in life. But the one I love, my daughter ,my world isnt here or even talking to me. I have an empty spot in my chest where she was, In Jesus's name I ask for this all to be fixed soon. Im breaking more and more each day.
Amen.

Soc1, Some encouragement for you in the Lord.....Jesus says in Mathew 11: "Come unto me all you who are weary and heavy laden. Take My yoke upon you, for I'm humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls.
Be Still...The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still..Exodus 14:14
Lord Jesus, I lift up this father & daughter relationship to you in prayer...Lord there have been many prayers lifted up to you on behalf of Soc1 & his daughter. Lord, we know you have heard these prayers, and the hearts cry of Soc1, and the longing he has to have his daughter healthy whole & to have the beautiful father & daughter unity that he so desires. Lord, I pray that Soc1 would " Be Still" in your presence, and Trust You Lord, as healing & restoration will come regarding his daughter. Lord, we trust that You are working in the spiritual relm, as all things will work together for good, to those who put their trust in You. May your loving presence & peace surround Soc1 & his daughter at this very moment. May Soc1, learn to walk by faith, not by sight....In Jesus name!

God does say that repetitious prayers are in vain.

However, nothing is impossible with God.

I am sure it must be difficult for you. Sorry to hear you are going through this. Prayers for you and your daughter plus two more encouraging verses:

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. I can only imagine how hard it is to deal with this situation. I do pray for your strength. Do you have help to assist with your daughter? Is she getting any type of treatment? Do you have a good support system? I can only imagine that you need a good support and times when you can get alone to gain strength. God hears and sees you. He promised not to give us anything too hard that we can't bear. He also said that His yoke is easy and his burden is light. He wants you to hold on to him. He wants you to cast your care on Him. I will be praying for your strength and that you get some assistance. I have been through hard times and felt that God wasn't answering, so I know how that feels. I had to hold on to His Word and prayer. He promises not to leave or forsake us. Hold on to God's Word and speak it out loud. You are in my prayers.

2 Corinthians 12:9
9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

God will never forget you. As you go through this, know that God is there every step of the way. He will comfort and uplift you. Your prayers are not unanswered. God always answers prayer with no, yes, and not yet. It may be delayed but just know that whatever you need God already knows.

That isnt what God said at all.

The Bible says :But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they. shall be heard for their much speaking.

How often do you say the "Our Father prayer?" Is that vain?

My Prayers are currently unanswered. Not knowing is the hard part. That and when will they be answered. I know God's timing is perfect, but Im real close to falling apart mentally.

God Bless you

The hardest parts are the waiting - but it is what we are commanded to do.

"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." (Psalm 27:14)

We are also encouraged to go BOLDLY into the throne room of God (Hebrews 6:14) and make our requests. Not as those unknown to Him, but as His children.

Be encouraged by the story in Luke 11:5-10. Be SHAMELESS and PERSISTENT in your prayers. God honors such praying.

Then Jesus said to them, “Suppose you have a friend, and you go to him at midnight and say, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread;a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have no food to offer him.’

And suppose the one inside answers, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is already locked, and my children and I are in bed. I can’t get up and give you anything.’I tell you, even though he will not get up and give you the bread because of friendship, yet because of your shameless audacity, he will surely get up and give you as much as you need.

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Vain repetitions (repitition means to repeat over and over again) are prayers that are repeated often and are always the same.. And I never say the "Our Father" prayer. GOD gave us that prayer. OUR prayers to Him are of our own construction. :)

That isnt what God said at all.

My knuckles are bloody, so are my feet and my head from banging on God's door. I cry and scream at his door. I cant seem to get him to open it to me. What am I doing so wrong?

As Always Thank you, and God Bless you and yours.

His answer for now, seems to be either NO or NOT NOW... It's just an observation, but nearly all 181 of your posts have been prayers for your daughter. That's what I meant about repetitious prayers said in vain. A trip to your profile shows me that you've made TWENTY FIVE threads for prayer for your daughter. It's time to stop praying for awhile, and just sit and wait on God. YOU do the waiting, HE will do the working and WE will do the praying. :)
