Distant Cousin Lung Transplant

My family needs prayers. My distant cousin, Noah, has a form of Leukemia. This is carried by females, but only kills males. He's only 10/11 and they projected him to die by 12, because that's the age most kids with this disease die. They found some lungs for him and he's heading to Children's Hospital for the lung transplant. Need some prayers that he makes it through.

I’m so sorry to hear about Noah’s health problem. I know how difficult and painful it must be for your family to see him go through this. I just said a prayer for him, asking the Lord to surround him with His loving presence and help him during this time. Be assured of my prayers for you and your family, as well. Thank you all. Update: his surgery was moved from last night. He will be undergoing the surgery in half an hour.

I am praying for this surgery to go well and the Drs to have steady hands and wise minds in this! I pray for his body to accept the new lungs and there to be no complications! Thank you all!!! He's recovering nicely. He sat up in a chair by himself for a couple days and I think they're thinking about taking his chest tubes out.

Another update: He might be able to come home next week! He's doing great. He was up and walking around today.
