I am asking for true prayer warriors to come and pray for me. I've been having anxiety for 4 years and it's not getting any better, I've been praying and PRAYING.. without ceasing but I am still struggling to relax, I am stressing and it's causes me to have health issues which is not good. So please anyone out there, would you say a quick prayer, God knows who you're praying for and it will mean a lot to me. Help restore my believe and faith, because I have been doubting Jesus.. I really desire to have a peace of mind, that's all I truly want, peace. So I ask you, please pray for me, after this post I will be taking a break from here and I hope I feel better. Who ever has truly gave some time to pray for me, I truly thank you.. & just know God hears you and sees you.

Thank you so much!

Don’t go yet Sunlight, I have a few questions. As much as we want to think that the prayers of strangers will open up the sky and bring supernatural healing, I have rarely (never) heard of that being successful. Even in the Bible, the only successful case involved Christ Himself. Many times it’s the laying on of hands by believers, and the faith of the one being healed is essential.

Peace is granted to those who have effectively cut themselves off from concern of this world. It is the act of letting go and accepting this vessel is temporary and expendable that lightens the load. Allowing the Holy Spirit to reprogram your mind, deleting the pointless “apps” and “viruses” that prevent our computer (brain) to opporate successfully, restores proper function. Ignoring the body’s urges to eat and drink the junk and poison that tastes good but completely robs us of health and vitality, resets the vessel’s ability to heal itself. Sugar and lack of omega 3 fats cause the nervous system to “short circuit” creating anxiety. GMOs and poor gut flora cause inflammation in the body that sets in motion God’s program for the vessel to die quicker.

Often most people with anxiety and poor health can heal by paying more attention to what they consume, restoring functional digestion and sleeping to allow their brain and body to heal....but I will say a prayer for you, regardless. Be blessed Sunlight!

Good post my friend!
The following part is what I meant as being good.

I don't agree with the first part because I have seen differently.

I don’t disagree that prayer is an effective tool as a believer. What I should have said was that often our health, our life and our relationships are self induced. Instead of realizing that we are our own worst enemy, we generate a disaster then pray for God to fix it, and never get out of His way so He can. Although it would be a warm fuzzy way to deal with our trials of life, being able to hand them all over to God, that’s not how a good Father deals with His children. There is no learning, growth or accountability. It’s like my daughter coming to me for money for school because she spent all of hers at the bar. Instead of praying for supernatural favour to get a position at work, possibly surpassing many people more qualified then ourselves, we should learn how to do the job better than anyone else, granting us the confidence to nail the interview and secure the promotion.

However, prayer does align us with God's plan and increase wisdom to serve Him better. As well, it helps us see clearer our own life so we can make better decisions and with humility fix relationships.

I couldn't get to all of your lovely responses, but I do thank you for showing concern for me and saying a prayer! We often struggle a lot with the mind and it is God's will for us to pray for each other, it's apart of fellowship. I have been praying to God and I know I have to believe more (trust) and I am working on that, but prayer for other people is important too, it builds a stronger togetherness if that makes sense, anywho! Thank you all :)

I am praying for you. You have a heart for the Lord and for getting better. He hears your prayers and wants "good" for you. Have you considered Christian counseling? For me, it gave me a safe place to vent, to be safe, to get wise and Biblical guidance, and to get an unbiased perspective. Again, praying for you today.

Thank you so much beautiful, I will consider counseling, I've said it a bunch of times (laziness) but I will look into that because I usually just hold everything in and I am learning that is not always healthy. Thank you for your prayers they mean so much you have NO CLUE!! God bless you!

Please know that anxiety attacks are nothing but adrenaline secreted into your system. The same adrenaline that is secreted when you play sports, are exited/happy, when you get angry, while during sex, when you watch a scary movie, etc.

Do not be frightened, it can't hurt you!

I had a friend who suffered from anxiety/panic attacks. He went to his doctor seeking medication, but the doctor told him medication isn't needed to control them. That too many doctors dish out pills for profit. He told him that when he felt one coming on - just laugh at it. He said to go to the bathroom mirror and laugh at your reflection. He told him that because he was causing them, he could also stop them. He also recommended to keep busy with some activity so that he could focus on other things. After a short while, the attacks came less and less, and they finally disappeared.

But, more importantly, remember that you are held in God's hand. You are loved and protected. God commands us not to be anxious because we have Him - the God who created the entire universe - on our side. That's why we are also told to rest in Him. He is well aware of our issues, and is in complete control of our lives.

Trust Him. Simply trust Him and you will be amazed at the results. When anxiety comes upon you, simply say, "God, this is all yours. You handle this, please".

And again, simply trust Him to do it.

So glad you are considering counseling! It does work! I understand about "holding everything in" and have learned, and am continuing to learn, that "stuffing" is only hurting me AND those I love! Blessings and prayers to you today.

I have been in your shoes so I think I understand. What I learned over the years and through many ups and downs was this: God has your back and He is in control. You don't need to be anxious if you understand that. Relax when you pray instead of being so frantic. Try beginning your prayers with acknowledgments of all the mighty things that He is and has done. Let go of yourself and rest in the knowledge that He has it all covered. Rest in His promise that those who seek Him WILL find Him.

It kind of looks like someone who is drowning and grabs onto their rescuer frantically and impedes the rescuer as opposed to one who is drowning and relaxes, floats, and allows his rescuer to pull them in and set their feet on firm, dry, ground.
