Please pray for Melvin Hughes, My friend yesturday attempted suicide he overdosed but is alive and in the hospitol. Im going to see him today to read him Gods word and pray for him. He struggles with drugs and is homeless because of it. He goes to church and is saved. Pray that he will completely surrender his entire life over to God and Gods will for him in his life. He has no family or friends. He has Our pastors and people in church. My church started a sober project for him to go to a spiritual 12step recovery program that I attend.
Thank you
Veronica

It's all good when God brings this kind of thing to our lives, Veronica. God is involving you in this man's life. Pray for God's direction into the mess Melvin has made his life into, that God can show him: 'Melvin, even though you accept me you can still drink and do bad things to yourself that mess yourself up.'

I say that for me, too, and, all of we humans as some think things are all different when we accept Christ into our lives. No ! THAT is when God really hits us, with not only his love often, but his testing of our wills and wants to know where we are really at with him. Christians use 'religion' as a crux, or, a 'out,' when there are, as I'm sure you've heard, and, well, if not, you're going to hear it now, statistics for christians that marry are MORE prone to divorce percentage-wise even than non-christians. Becoming a christian, marrying one, yada, yada, yada, does nothing more than the simplest of things of understanding, as in 'Hey, a christian married a christian.' It's about a personal relationship with Christ, and, like goth says, 'Jesus loves me even with my piercings and tattoos.' YES ! That stuff means NOTHING to God, HEY, he might want you to reach those that won't listen to anyone else for accepting Christ EXCEPT from someone who has...................you guessed it! A tattoo ! ! Choose God and never look back, rely on Him for all your needs, and, you will not need ANYTHING (sin) else :)

We all fall , we are saved by the act on the cross of Jesus. Thank God ! :)
