Hello,I'm Mary and I'm from the Philippines. My husband, a missionary Pastor and I started a ministry by faith, a church ( Grassroots Family fellowship ) 3 years ago. We focus on the least members of our society, the grassroots level. We do prayer and Bible studies in the depressed areas, hospitals, prisons and we do monthly children feeding in squatters area and remote tribal villages when the Lord provides.

Since, by God's grace we started this humble ministry we've been renting a small building as our fellowship center and at the same time a house of refuge for anyone who seeks help and need God's comfort. We are an independent, non-denominational church and it's always an honor to serve the least of our brethren.

Lately, our church building rent contract had expired so we have to find another place to fellowship. We can no longer afford to renew the contract of the building we are renting as the owner told us the rent would increase. We have no idea where to go and where to get the money for the rent. My husband and I also worry that the brethren would scatter and get lost as to where to fellowship if we move to another place . God is good and God provides. We need your prayers on this. Please pray that God will provide us with our own church lot and building. There's power in prayer and God does miracles when His people pray together. This is our humble request to all Christians out there. God bless us all.

Hello Mary,

What an awesome ministry you and your husband have in the Philippines. I commend you both for answering God's call to minister to "the least of these." I will keep you both and your ministry in my prayers.

Blessings,
Lynn

Dear Lord,
I thank you for this amazing couple who have answered Your call to minister in the Philippines. You have provided for their ministry thus far, and I pray that continued provision will come their way. You see the need for a new building, Lord, and You are Jehovah-Jireh, the great provider. I ask for financial provision to meet all of the needs for renting or purchasing a building and maintaining this ministry. I also ask for wisdom upon Mary and her husband as they search for a church lot and building, that they hear Your voice as You lead them to the right place. Finally, Lord, I ask that your Holy Spirit remain with all of their brethren, so that none scatter during this time of transition. In Jesus' name, amen.

Sister Lynn, thank you so much, your prayers and response thrilled and inspired my heart greatly, God so bless you my Sister in Christ! I had posted my little prayer request here for a couple of days already with no response, i thought no one cared enough to pray. I was wrong!

Thank you so much! You don't know how much encouragement it gave my heart (and i know my husband's too, when he gets to read this!). God bless you beloved...

I will keep you posted as to how God is answering our prayers. He is indeed our Jehovah-Jireh and our Miracle-worker. The praise belongs to Him alone!

I didn't respond sooner to your request because I just joined CC a few days ago. I have been trying to check out prayer requests the past couple of days and respond. I am so glad I found yours and was able to pray for you.

Yes, please keep me posted, and I will keep you in my prayers.

God bless you both!
