Hey Family!

I just wanted to ask for prayers for all my co-workers especially my boss David. There are no more funds to continue the non-profit organization I work for that has been servicing my home town for the past 38 years. My boss David (the controller) has been here from the beginning and I see him choking back tears as he feels this heavy burder of responsibility for the nearly 250 workers here. He had no part in this but everyone here are like his children and he has cried for the things going on which he can do nothing about. The executive director, Jose has made poor decisions which has resulted in all this. Everyone wants to hate him but I ask for prayers for him as well. My mom along with many others who work here have been here nearly 30 years, and I have known most of these people my whole life. Our county has a nearly 30% unemployement rate and the stress and fear is evident on the faces of my co-workers who have been made aware of the situation.

There is so much sadness here and it is heartbreaking. I can hold hope that for all their sakes God will give them a miracle, but I ask for prayers for everyone here. I don't want my co-workers to feel dispare, and right now no one wants to hear about the goodness of God and how He has plans to prosper and not harm us.

As for me, those who know - God has gotten me through far worse things than loosing a job! He put this job in my hands and it is His to take away.

I will stay in prayer for my boss and co-workers. I just need my prayer warriors backing me up.

Thanks Everyone!

God Bless <3 God is still worthy to be praised!

I know I cried out to God in my financial desperation and HE answered me and did a miracle for me.

So I figure God can do the same thing for anyone. In our situation we had to make new living arrangements such as a grown son moving back in because he too was hit by the awful economy. As a result we pooled our finances together and make it work. More and more families are moving back in together living under the same roof because of financial needs. In our situation I lost my high paying good job and had to settle for half. Our son pays rent but the rent is cut in half compared to if he was paying another land lord. In other words rental property goes for 700.00 to over 1,000.00 in our area and he only pays us 400.00. That is it. He buys his own groceries. We pay for the rest, the mortgage, utilities. He pays for cable and the computers and internet service, otherwise I would have no computer access except for the local library. We are a very loving family and since he is a grown man, 29 I don't tell him what to do and visa versa.
I would recommend living with other family members. They have done recent studies and found that grand parents and children are all living in the same households again due to the wretched economy crisis. That way I was able to take a job that only pays $7.75 an hour and work 31 hours a week, enough to qualify for full time status and get health insurance. Sure it is not what I was used to but the blessing is I have my son.
I have found you have to be creative in these circumstances as things are not going to be good economically for a very long time to come.
Yes I will pray in Jesus name that God provides and opens doors and creates miracles for all employees in this horrible situation. I guess I'm just trying to share that sometimes the miracles come in ways you don't expect. At first it was a humbling experience and devestating to me emotionally to have to ask my son to move back in with us so we could pay our bills? But he needed the help too as he was getting further and further behind in his bills. So it became a win win situation for all of us.
