I'm writing from the hospital waiting room. My boyfriend Rich's grandma is in the ICU. She broke her femur over the weekend and after surgery today they couldn't get her blood pressure to stay up. We still don't have a clear answer on if she'll make it or not but her leg is a mess either way and she was doing badly when we first got here. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers, sorry I don't know her name.

Dear sister, I pray that your boyfriends grandaamother heal quickly, and completely, and comforts all those who care for her, in Jesus name, Amen

perhaps,
Oh Lord, how long must I call for help before you listen?
I shout to You in vain; there is no answer. Help Murder! I cry, but no one comes to save. Must I forever see this sin and sadness all around me?

Wherever I look, there is oppression and bribery and men who love to argue and to fight. The law is not enforced and there is no justice given in the courts, for the wicked far outnumber the righteous, and bribes and trickery prevail."

"The Lord replied; Look and be amazed! You will be astounded at what I am about to do! For I am going to do something in your own lifetime that you will have to see to believe." Habakkuk 1: 3-5 Does it not feel right
?
Does it not feel like something tremendous is about to happen? It is in the air! Are you ready?

Dear Lord Jesus, please forgive me for my sins, cast all negative, fearful, doubting spirits far from me, heal me physically, mentally, spiritually, grant me the gift of faith,
wisdom, peace, tranquility, joy, and the certainty that you will never leave me, fill me now with your Holy Spirit, lead and guide my future path in life, these things I ask in Jesus name, Amen

Dear brothers and sisters, speak to our Father often, read His word a bit everyday, go out and find your brothers and sisters of The Almighty God !!! Remember, Salvation is not a feeling, God is with us always. It is only feelings that change. God will return joy to your life, stay close to Him !!!

May God pour out His richest blessings upon you and yours !!! Have a great day in Jesus.

Love in Jesus Christ
bro Gary

Just have an update. She started breathing on her own last night, but today she's got a very bad fever, her blood pressure is bad, and they took her off the respirator. It's pretty much established she's not going to make it. I'm at the hospital again with Rich's family and they're all taking it pretty hard, though more than half of them are believers and praying.

Thanks for the prayers and please continue praying for both her and her family.

Well it's day 3. She's semi-responsive, but she's not improving. She opens her eyes and sometimes smiles or gives some sign of a reaction, but she still has a fever, she apparently developed an infection (yesterday I believe), and it looks like it's turning into pneumonia. The duration of the whole thing is really really taking its toll on my boyfriend Rich and his family. I got to go in and meet her and talk to her a little. You can tell just by looking in her eyes that she really has a strong spirit to her, and from the stories I've heard about her, I wouldn't doubt she's fighting this with everything she has. She just doesn't look like she's given up, if that makes sense.

I also have a name now for those who have been praying. Her name is Elinor Chatterton, and she's 85. Other than her increase in responsiveness, there's really nothing new to report. The doctors have her on heavy doses of pain medications to try to make her comfortable. They said that all they can really do now is keep her comfortable and wait. Considering they weren't expecting her to last 15 minutes after the respirator was removed and that was well over 24 hours ago, nothing's set in stone right now. The fact that she's not getting better is what really has people upset. She's not getting worse, which is good, but she's definitely not improving either.

Another thing to really pray for is the family right now. Since this is really working on all their nerves, some of them are starting to get on each other's nerves, I noticed. There was one almost fight today so tensions are running kinda high. So pray everyone maintains their sanity through this. This is the time when they really need each other.

Update:

She is looking amazing compared to last night! She has her eyes open, she's nodding and shaking her head when you ask her questions, and she moves her head around a little. She even tried to talk at one point! The doctors are saying she still has little hope, but she looks so much better and it's really raised everyone's spirits. So happy!!!

Men know little about what the Spirit can do. Either way know that she goes with God.

Just got back from the hospital. Nothing really new to report, she's still responsive, but her pain medication isn't working anymore and she's in pain. They also turned off her internal defibrillator, her kidneys are failing, and a few members of the family have had a strong feeling all day that today is going to be the day she passes. Then again everyone's had that feeling since sunday, so really there's nothing to do but wait and see what happens.

Father, thank You for hearing our prayers. I continue to speak life to her and for her to be healed in Jesus Name. I put her in Your arms Jesus. Give her peace and hold her and give all the family members and doctors peace and clarity. Let her feel Your presence Holy Spirit, right where she is. Breakthrough with whatever You see needs to be done. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Well she's still around, but barely. Rich and I both hit a wall last night and fell apart for a little while. There's no much change and we're about to head up again. Thank you for all your prayers.

Thank you all for all the prayers. Elinor Chatterton passed away today around 7pm while Rich and I were driving home from having just seen her. Her suffering is finally over.
