I need to hear from some believers about making it through the daily struggles of raising a family, maintaining a marriage and working a competitive job. The first two are my main concern. How do you balance your life? Any good thoughts, major insights? I am finding that the harder I work on any area of my life the other areas suffer. My husband told me today that fishing is the only thing in his life that makes him happy. I was stunned.
I am very sad. I need some prayer for some joy and peace in my family life and my marriage.

Here is prayer you can pray for joy. Heavenly Father, let me see your face and shout for joy, because You are such a good GOD. Help me to see what is right and not on everything that appears to be wrong in my life. If I am unable to recognize Your work in me, forgive me O LORD. Deliver me from any ungrateful heart and help me not to complain about everything. Teach me Lord, to give thanks and rejoice in everything I do because I know that You are in control of everything. AMEN Hope this helps!!

Keep praying and giving all to Jesus!
I would pray a simple prayer to Jesus everytime my mind and heart started to get frustrated or angry.
It sounds to me like Jesus is bringing His presance into your life and your families in a powerful plan!
You, your husband and family are in my prayers in Jesus Christ is Lord!

God bless.

yes I'm struggling too but this song comforts me perhaps it will comfort you. I pray that God shows us his love daily.

YouTube - JJ Heller - What Love Really Means (Official Music Video)

Who will love me for me? What love really means by JJ Heller.

I will love you, will you love me?

God spoke this into my heart*May 2003

" Look on each day as a new day,
forgive the hurts of yesterday
.Let go of dreams of tomorrow.
Focus on today.
Look on every thing with fresh eyes for what you remember is what was.
Live and rejoice in what is.
Be it sadness and pain*
or happiness and joy.
wealth or poverty,
find ultimate joy in the truth and ultimate happiness in unconditional love.*
For they are the only things that remain constant.
For they are from God
The nature of beings is pure light and goodness
Rejoice in knowledge and learning
because that is the path toward God and truth
See with clear eyes the world
unfettered with misconceptions based on past experiences and attachments.
People change, things change.

True future selves are based on past self,
but have you truly seen them as they are or know who they will be?
Each person has choices/ experiences that changes them daily.
So greet everyone with happiness and compassion.

Be open to accept who they are now
and give them love for who they were*
and what they have done for you,
but never forget to see them as they are now
instead of imposing the picture of who they used to be"

Stay close to Jesus, expect a miricle !!!

Dear Sister, stay close to our Lord, talk with Him often, read His word a bit every day, go find some of your brothers and sisters in Christ, they can always be a great help and encouragement to you.

The best way to get through all of the trials of life is by asking God to give you the strength you need, He will not fail you.

As far as your husband, saying his only pleasure is in fishing, he is probably just as overwhelmed as you. This is not always an easy life, and no one can be truely happy without Jesus by their side every step of the way.

I pray Jesus will lay His hands upon you and your family, cast off all negative spirits, heal you all physically, mentally, spiritually, fill you all with peace, tranquility and joy, in Jesus name, Amen !!!

Love in our Lord and Savior

Brother Gary

Thank you to all for your sweet messages of encouragement. So, so very refreshing to my spirit to read your notes, your prayers and sense God's love through each one of you.
On a different day, maybe the conversation with my husband wouldn't have bothered me as much. Yesterday, though, I felt an all-out attack on my spirit; I felt nearly physically ill. My attention was so diverted that I found it difficult to pray. So thank you, thank you for standing in the gap for me, for praying for me. Thank you for letting me reach out.
As far as "Let go of dreams of tomorrow. Focus on today" that is the crux of the matter.
