Just want you guys to be praying for my family. On Thursday night about 7:30pm my grand mother on my dads side passed away suddenly in her bathroom. It was determined that it was a heart attack. She was 85, and had lymphoma, and had just recently started chemo for it. The oncologist had very high hopes for her to be able to beat the cancer.

This happend exactly one month and one day after we lost my grand father on my moms side, and my parents have been hit very hard emotionally by all of this. They need the prayers the most.

My grandfather on this side is 87 and just seems very lost by everything right now. He had been very freail and weak these past few months anyway, and my Grandmother was so concerned with taking care of him that sometimes she ended up neglecting herself. We are afraid he will not last much longer without her. We will have to have someone move in with him to take care of him, as he's still in too good of health to be put in a nursing home, but not capable of taking care of himself without assistance. He doesn't know how to cook for himself, and has a condition that makes it very difficult for him to swallow most things, so he is very limited on what he is willing to eat.

Prayer for the whole family as we go through this would be appreciated, and especially for my parents having to deal with this all again so soon. I seem to have mostly become numb to it and I havn't cried much yet over it. I suspect my emoptional breakdown will come later once everything has kind of passed over. I consider it God allowing me to be calm to be able to be there for my parents.

The service for her will be at 4pm on Tuesday.

Dear Sister Alanya, I pray that our Lord will accept your grandmother into His kingdom, and comfort all of you who will miss her physical presence, in Jesus name, Amen.
