Need prayer that God will send someone my way to be a loving boyfriend/father. I would like to think that I can handle being a single parent but i know it would be so much easier with a extra set of helping hands. Why do men flee when they hear the word kids or responsibility? Why is it so hard to find a christian man in my area?

I know exactly how you feel, because I have been in your shoes! I was a single mother of 3 children under the age of 6, working AND going to nursing school, both full time. I was exhausted and so alone! I was not a Christian at the time, but I still prayed, and did not understand why my life was so hard.

Isn't it amazing how God provides us comfort, and then puts others in our paths so that we can extend this same comfort! See this from 1 Corinthians 1:

3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. 5For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows.

I pray that God would bring peace and comfort to your life. Perhaps He wishes you to be fully dependent on Him at this time. Place it in His hands, and wait for HIS timing. When you and your kids are ready, He will bring your "Adam" to you. Until then, honor Jesus as your husband!

God is a father 4 the fatherless and we r his brides, so stop worrying about having a man Jesus is always there nd will give u unconditional. I have been married 4 6 yrs nd it hs not been easy I have felt loney with my husband right next 2 me, 4 months ago he cheated 4 the 1st time with a girl 12 yrs younger,she fell pregnant nd later aborted, thru all the pain I wished i ws single i ddnt even mind being a single parent until i realised that God is a jealous God who wnts us 2 only focus on him nd not people in our lives coz we put so much expectations on those who with us nd when the unexpected happens it hits hard.So dnt focus on getting some1 coz u r going 2 hv yo expectations nd when it goes wrong u wl wish u stayed single,pray nd read the word God wl c yo patience nd wl send u yo custum made Adam nd u wl b ready 4 him in every way. God loves u nd yo kids very much nd he wl not put u 2 shame nd i wnt 2 commend u 4 keeping yo babies so many young ladies rush 2 hv arbotions but u did not so God wl surely b there 4 u. I'm still wth my hubby nd since i believe that God is my greater hubby i have learned 2 4give my hubby nd God is helping me get over the pain. May the gud Lord of mercy nd compassion b wth u. God bless u nd yo kids
