About a year ago, my niece was forced from her sister's house at gun point,by her brother and taken to a hotel where her dad, brother, and her dad's friend were doing drugs and watching porn. My niece never said exactly what else went on, other than she burried her head in a pillow and went to her happy place. Well my sister went to pick her up but the police told her she wasn't allowed to, because there was a loaded gun and my sister's ex, had threatened to kill her. So, while my sister was waiting for a police officer to come, so they could go retrieve my niece, her ex drove up and pushed my niece out of the car.
Like I said my niece never really said went on we all kind of knew....but without her saying it for sure, we all felt like our hands were tied. My niece kept saying nothing happened...but we all had the sinking feeling something did...and then almost a year later, last night she made a comment to her little sister, she said, "You better watch out and hope Timmy boy doesn't snatch you and make you do something you don't want too.' She calls her dad Timmy boy. It kind of confirms, what we know happened, even though she won't come right out and say it.
So my prayer is for my niece...because she has so much potential, she is so smart and gifted...but she just keeps to herself, and has attempted suicide three times in her life. She's only fourteen, and she was molested as a child, she's been abandoned time and time again by her father growing up, she was almost kidknapped last year on her way to school, and now this...so I guess my prayer request is that she can find God's love and press on and live her life without fear.
