I don't know too many individuals on this site as of yet, but please pray for me and my family. We're undergoing some serious pains. Probably within the next year we will be without a home. Financially we're also struggling with me, myself being the only provider with a part-time job. I'm currently looking for another line of work. Right now, I live with my mother because I don't make enough to become fully self-sufficient.
Also, we've been having some disheartening problems as a family. My daughter, Abbigail, is going through the first stages of depression. I've been trying to get her to get help, but she refuses me. She sees a counselor at school but I feel that's not enough for her. She has become violent, and verbally abusive towards me and her grandmother. She has been pushing us away. Everyone tries to tell me it's just normal teenage behavior but now that she's admited to me she thinks she has depression, I think it's far far greater than that. Please pray for her and for me in this situation because I am most in sorrow about this. I've lived with mental disorders in my family all my life and now my daughter is becoming a victim too. It hurts beyond measure. I cannot even describe how painful it is to watch and listen as your own child belittes you with so much hatred (and also herself) you don't know how to react. I've been trying to handle it with as much love and care as I can, but she keeps pushing me even further away. She says things to me that are so hurtful and cruel, sometimes I feel as if I just want to walk away from being a mother completely. I'm so sad and so hurt and I have no one other than Jesus to lean on. It's probably going to get worse before it will get any better, but I need people to pray for us during this vast time of trial. Right this moment, I'm crying while typing this and it's 1:30am. I can't sleep I'm so distraught and hurt. Please pray for me and my family.

leaning on Jesus seems like the best thing you can do..fighting the battle on your knees God promises is the way and God always keeps his promises..it may not be as soon as you pray for but God dosnt work on our time..the beginning of your answers could be as simple as chatting on this web site..or watching a certain program on tv.. or going to church..im a new christain although ive always felt the Holy Spirit in me..its just been recently that ive been feeding my soul with prayer..and learning to listen to the Holy Spirit..be quiet calm and have faith and you will feel the Holy Spirit wash over you....and your worries will be no more let God guide your life..i promise you your life will change....take care.. love you.. john....God Bless.......

Praise Him with all of your heart, or as much as you are able, and watch the impossible happen. If you have any thoughts or impressions that you don't want to worship, or that you can't, this is your enemy, look right at it and claim Christ as your right standing with God and praise the Lord.

I stand with you in your praise and I speak to your enemies in high places, every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Php 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Php 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Php 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Psa 18:1 I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.
Psa 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
Psa 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Psa 136:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:8 The sun to rule by day: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:9 The moon and stars to rule by night: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:10 To him that smote Egypt in their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:11 And brought out Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:12 With a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:13 To him which divided the Red sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:16 To him which led his people through the wilderness: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:17 To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:18 And slew famous kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:19 Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:20 And Og the king of Bashan: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:21 And gave their land for an heritage: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:22 Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:23 Who remembered us in our low estate: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Psa 136:24 And hath redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:25 Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Psa 136:26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Isa 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Isa 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

I feel you but sometimes all these things are bound to happen to us for a reason and going through these times doesn't mean Jesus is not with you. My best advice for you is to not give up on praying to him everyday and show to him your faith then, i'm very sure the Lord will never let you down so just be patient and let him fix these things for you. You have my prayers brother cheer up and God bless!

Stay close to the Son, He will not fail you !!!

 Dear Sister Holly, I understand your problems seem overwhelming right now. We are all tested, somtimes near our breaking point, sometimes beyond.

But even when we break, God is still there waiting for us.

I pray that all evil, negative, doubting spirits leave your home and each member of your family, I pray that when you read this, God will lay His hands upon you, allow all of your musltles to relax, close your eyes and go to the Father, ask Him fto meet all your needs and healing for your Daughter Abbigail, speak to our Father often, go out and find your brothers and sisters in Christ, they can be of great help to you now.

May our Lord pour out His richest blessings upon you and your family!!!

Love in Jesus Christ
brother Gary

Oh what needless pains we often bear all because we do not carry our problems to God. His answers are yes and amen.it's done.rise up and rejioce. Praise the lord forevermore.

Ok I just wanted to do a follow up on this thread to let everyone know what I've been doing to render this situation. I've filed for unemployment even though I do have a part time job. Since I'm not making enough to cover living expenses etc, I should be able to receive some benefits even while working. I also am trying to get goverment assistance going again. I'm still vigorously looking for another job. There are a few apartment complexes around here who have specials for the summer, but until I am financially stable enough to get a place of residence, I'm not pursueing any of them. But at least I got some goals set. Who hasn't been in this type of situation? I don't think in this country it's possible. I know the Lord is with me and like the people at my church said, it's going to get worse before it gets better but always have faith and He will deliver!
