Sorry

I have been having a bad couple days.

Some of you know I have been treying to find a church, having no Christian friends this is hard.
Every day after work or on the weekend my choice is loneliness or going out with secular friends which always includes drinking, bars, shady people i dont know etc.

And it seems no matter how hard I try, how hard i pray... Wanting to find where god wants me to be is just dead ending. And I am really really frustrated and depressed.


So please if its not a bother and you have a free second, I could use a prayer that he will get me where I need to be. Because its not here.... and I dont have a map.

Sometimes spiritual solitude with God alone can be great. Friendship, support, and corporate worship in a church setting are great, but nothing compared to being alone in God's presence--just you and Him--it's truly amazing. But I do believe God wants us to get plugged in to a good church, for many reasons. So I will pray for you, Sothy.

Lord, God,

I thank you that You are all that we need. I thank you that you do send us brothers and sisters, however, to help us feel Your love in tangible ways and to offer guidance, love, and support for one another. I lift up my friend Sothy to You and ask that You draw him closer to yourself than he's ever been, especially during this time of loneliness and frustration. I also ask that you lead him to the right church that will teach biblical truths to nourish his soul and to be a loving support for him. Please surround him with your Holy Spirit and with godly friends. Help him overcome temptations to hang out with the wrong crowd or in the wrong places. He won't find You there, and he won't find real love there either.

Thank you, Lord, for loving Sothy enough to answer his pleas and our prayers.

I will pray for you Sothy, I too live in a town with virtually no options. Solitude can be frustrating and lonely but don't give up hope.

i have prayed for you. i KNOW it is hard not to have christian friends and to be lonely!! i too choose to be loney rather than hurt my heavenly father with ungodly behavior and it gets easier with time! God BLess!! also what LynnJ wrote is so true and this is something we all need to remember!

I once was on CC for awhile b4 it was took down....and i love the way the site has improved. I will tell you...as a christian...and moving to a new town where i dont know many ..or what church to go to....but, there is one thing..i do have .. and thats Faith...i will pray for you and that God shows you wht to do and may God bless you

It is hard to have fellowship with other Christians when you just don't know any.

Dear Sothy , you are in my preys, When we are in our darkest hour and weakest moments the Lord is stronger and as you go through your walk you also go through the fire where he refines us and molds us, You are after a true calling and wait on your fathers direction ,listen only to him who will call you ,and it want be by the flesh but by his Spirit Your father knows where you are and what your going through,just rest and have faith that he will open the door when he is ready for you , Put all temptations aside and take a stand that at this moment praise him sing praise's: you have a gentleness in you that is rare and a strength that is not fooled ,You have been where the faint at heart will not,You have insight that others seem shallow and foolish, when you are going through trials Praise God always, You know your father is not fooled for HE is the POTTER and you are the CLAY

we all need each other in times of doubting. I too feel very alone i the neighborhood where I live. But I carry on being myself and hopefully people will see the change in me. If you are a genuine person and desire postitive things to happen, things will eventually. I have learnt in life try never try to be the same as other people, just be yourself its much easier and love will come yoiur way from god and other people that do really care. Kind Regards Mandy x
