Please pray for me and my family. I don't know why but I feel suddenly scared.

I know what Jesus says:

2 Timothy 1:6-8 (New King James Version)

6 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands. 7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Not Ashamed of the Gospel

8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,

When I am afraid, I will trust in you. Psalms 56:3 -- I've made a point of memorizing scriptures on this subject (fear) so I will be armed and ready when I experience these normal reactions to events and "moods" in my life. I am praying for you .. that God shows you know how to "counter" these attacks of fear in your own life.

Anadahya, sometimes when a feeling or concern is set upon one, it means God Our Father has someone in need of prayer.
Its not for us to always know who or what, simply, we are asked to be obedient and pray for whom ever is in need. :)

Hugs and God bless.

I past through something like that last week, the bible says a lot on fear infact the bible says "do not fear" 365 times (ha ha).
Anyway, what i did is i went on my knees in my bedroom and said something like this: "Oh God, I have fear in me and I know you do not want me to be afriad, God please give me a solution on how i can get rid of this fear and be feeled with your joy, peace and love. God I know you have done this coz nothing is impossible with you. In Jesus name, Amen"
the prayer was something like that and immediately i finished i had and still have no fear. God bless,

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain

I'm taking an online early childhood education class and I found something in my reading about fear and how it affects the brain:

"Stress and threat affect the brain in many ways. Emotions run the brain, and bad emotions reduce the capacity for memory and understanding, as well as reducing higher-order thinking skills. Good emotions create excitement and love of learning."

"Conclusion: make a positive, personal connection with each child and avoid threats by loss of approval, hurried schedules, or implying children are helpless or bad. A secure environment counteracts the problems that may occur when the stress regulation mechanisms are triggered too often. Good emotions enhance memory.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
Our Father Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts and we forgive our debtors, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, for thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages, amen.

O Lord, out of the depths i have cried to you, hear me. Comfort thy struggling servant Ananda Hya, save her, protect her from all adverse separation of the devil, strengthen her in her resolve to fight for the path of righteousness, for thou art our strength and unto thee do we send up Glory, to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages, Amen.
