a request

Hello people!

I just had a prayer request for me. Im not really in the place of my walk with God that I want to be. Im not being the christian God wants me to be. Im doing my own things, im doing stuff that isnt Godly, im disobeying God daily, and its hard. I remember a time when I had God in my life and I was happy. Now im not happy, and it sucks. I mean I smile, I laugh, I do things that make me happy, but really inside, im not happy. I want God in my life again and him to move and make miracles in my life. I've been having it kinda hard since I gave up on God and I want him back in my life. I love God with all my heart and wish to please him, but its just hard. Im weak. So if you would please pray for me to have strength and pray that God comes back in my life, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you and God bless.

We all go through this at times....the Apostle Paul made mention of how he went through this at times, and he wrote by revelation of it in Romans 7:15-25.

We all inherited that Sin Nature passed down from Adam's wrongdoing. We sinned because it was our nature to sin. As you read Romans chapters 5 and 6, you'll see that Jesus Christ died not only for our sins, but also for that sin nature. But that old sin nature still like's to pop it's head up now and then and we do things we don't want to do, and we don't do the things we really want to do. Paul refers to that old sin nature as a dead body in Romans 7:24.

But Paul reminds us that we have the victory in Romans 8:1 and 2.......the law of the spirit of life [the new birth] in Christ Jesus made us free from the law of sin and death.

We do walk away from God at times when we get tricked by the adversary. But God NEVER walks away from us........nothing can separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus the Lord. Read carefully Romans 8:33-39.

Now, walking with and for God is not always a cakewalk. [Not always easy]. It tells us in Romans 12:2 that we are to "renew our minds." This is not something God is going to do for you.......God gives us freedom of will....that's why He tells us to do it. But if you are a born again Christian, that old sin nature no longer has dominion over you.........you can gain the mastery, you have the spiritual strength .........you can be more than a conqueror [Romans 8:37].

Will it happen overnight? Is there a phone booth we can step into and come out of as super-believers?
No.........be patient with yourself brother. Stop condemning yourself [Romans 8:1].
Take things one at a time.........build God's Word into your mind, one verse at a time....like building a brick wall........persevere.

God and His Son, Jesus Christ, are on your side.......You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you [Philippians 4:13].

God looks on the heart....if you truly have a heart that wants to be close to God, He will never fail you, nor forsake you............we all need a heart check-up from time to time.

we're children of God, and He is our dad no one else. thats why He said to us tha He wil forgive us all our sins, and blasphemies they may utter. but only if we blasphemes agaist the HOLY SPIRIT, HE will never forgive us coz it is subject to eternal condemnation.
