Jesus, you give and you take away, Lord be close to this family, rescue their crushed spirits, help them in this time of loss and overwhelming grief, help them to seek your strength in their weakness, help them see that you have not abandoned them, show your compassion Lord, help them through the pain so that they may find renewed hope in you again. Children, may the angels greet you with warm welcoming and may you sit on the lap of your Father who has been waiting to meet you.
