depressed & very sad and lost

Somebody please help me, i am alone in this world, my partner of five years just broke up with me and now i am left with nothing but myself, somebody please talk to me i feel so alone

I knd of know how you feel.... my heart goes out too you because i know a situation like that is extremly painful. But you are not alone, tons of people go through things like this and the good news is "everything always turns out ok". God is watching over you probably saying "I promise i know what i am doing, this is for your best, i have something amazing in store for you, just have faith in me." If you feel very alone then go out with friends, go to churches, volunteer at places and get to know new people.... I promise, you will be just fine, just be strong sweetheart !

I have felt that way. A many years ago. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Saviour. I don't want come back to this again. I hope it helps. All the best.

Keil, to come to Jesus you must first recognize who He is. He is the creator of this world who came down to earth, humbled Himself, denied Himself, and who came to die for all of the sins of all humanity. That is how much God loves us. Then we must recognize what keeps us away from God, which is our sin. ALL sin leads to death, and so we must recognize that when we sin we are putting ourselves far from God. So then you must confess your sins to God and He is just and right to forgive you of all your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Once you have confessed your sins, you repent from them. It was because of our sin that Jesus was tortured, ashamed, and crucified. Once you repent, you ask the Holy Spirit to guide every decision in your body,mind,soul to be done by the Holy Spirit. You ask Him to lead you through His power. After you do this you'll realize that we depend upon His word and prayer. He sacrificed Himself to restore our relationship with God. So do this NOW and trust me you will not regret it.

You say you want to accept Jesus back into your heart. What caused you to to walk away from Him in the first place? I am just curious...

Jesus gives more than happiness, he gives joy. There is a difference:

Happiness is based on temporary things: The girl, the car, the house, the job, life.

But joy is based on eternal things: Jesus, eternal life, salvation, love, mercy, truth...

And hear these words and be blessed:


Joh 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
Joh 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Joh 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Joh 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Keil, Please receive Christ into your heart. Confess that He died on the cross and rose again and is the one and only true God and surrender all to Him. I know your pain. My wife of 12 years is wanting a divorce. As Christian we are not removed from the pain and consequences of sin and a fallen world. But through the tough times and pain we can and will have the joy a relationship with Christ brings. And we have life eternal with our Heavenly Father.

thanks everyone having people talk to me and give me advice is very encouraging. i guess that once i get closer to jesus i will feel better because then i will realise that jesus is the only thing we need in our lives and nothing else matters.

It's not easy, but it really might help to read how other people feel when it happens to them. Community helps.
