Please pray for a friend and his wife. He was injured in Afghanistan today (Thursday) from a mortar attack. Pray for his entire family including his Dad who came back from Afghanistan after heavy fighting and has been suffering a lot from stress and injuries.

Sorry to hear what this family is going through. I hope they heal from the physical and emotional things they have been through.

Dear Sister, I pray that your friend who was injured will be healed quickly and completely, that his Dad will be healed mentally and spiritually and that the entire family and all those who care for them are blessed with peace, tranquility and the knowledge that if they rely on our Lord, joy will return to all their lives, in Jesus name, Amen.

I pray also for all the innocent civillians in war torn areas, may our Lord protect them from harm, and provide for their needs, in Jesus name, Amen

Update: Just got word that he came out of surgery and is stable but they are keeping him in a comma and airlifting him to Germany. He lost 5 units of blood and has a collapsed lung still but he is hanging in there. :)

During the evacuation of my town I went to WY and visited my friend. He is recovering nicely but will be in physical therapy for quite sometime. His Dad is experiencing a lot of post tramatic stress and related health problems he continues to need a lot of prayers.
