Emerson's Prayer Request

Meh. Unoriginal name, I know... I just wanted to ask that you guys pray for me as I enter into a new period in my life. My workplace has been steadily cutting my hours and will eventually leave me with no work at all (I was once almost full-time, I am now at 8 hours a week). Due to other circumstances beyond my control, I soon will not have a home to live in. This mix of info makes life a little scary, as it seems as though I will have no job and no home, but I put my trust and hope in the Lord and know that He will take care of me. All the same, it's hard not to be a little scared of the future... Please pray that God will provide me with a new home and new job and will use this circumstance to grow my character, and to make me draw nearer to Him

visible ray of hope: The radio station in my city says that they are interested in having me as a Newsperson. No word on when they want to interview me yet.

We may not understand at the moment but if we will accept it as coming from the throne of God, no sorrow will ever destroy us, no trial disarm us, no circumstance overpower us or cause us to worry!

Sorry I haven't been online much recently... things've been kind of hectic.

But good news!

A position has opened up within the company for a full-time receiver! I've applied for a transfer and I'm just waiting to hear from them... please pray for me on this... even if this isn't the job God has for me, I know He'll provide me with one (heh heh... all the same, I'd be psyched if this was it)

Update: Today I had a surprise interview at work! A manager from another store came to interview me for a full-time position at his store. The interview went quite well. I'm usually incredibly shy (and therefore terrible) during interviews, but God helped me answer confidently in everything... please pray that this will work out (and even if it doesn't, that God will provide me with the job He wants me to have)

I think your positive and happy attitude, and also your lame jokes (to a certain degree) help you alot. Whatever the outcome, with the attitude you have, your brothers and sisters in Christ's prayers and of course God, good things will go your way.
