In the year of 2005, God gave me a chance to visit the country of Myanmar. Some of the churches in Myanmar were wonderfully led by the Spirit of God, with many members, good good pastors, and leaders, but some of the churches seems to be fallen asleep.
Comparing to the time of Judson who brought the gospel for the first time, it seems that the churches were not grown as they supose to grow. Is there any reason for this? Many foreign missions, inland missions and the local churches themselves had sent many missonaries inside thier own country. Now where is the result of the work of those missionaries who works day and night without caring the pain, the suffering, poverty, and the brutal Govt. Or do we say the missionaries are not really working? No! not at all, they really work hard, they toil hardly in the field, they really did thier best for the Lord, that thier people might get save by the blood of the merciful Saviour. They work with tears, with pain, with much sufferings. They toil day and night, knowing that the coming of our Lord Jesus is very near, they preach the gospel to every one under the heat of the sun. under the rain, under the storm, and in the greatest flood.
So if this is the case, what could be the reason that the churches in Myanmar are not grawing? This could be one if the reason "the prayer of you and me are not really enough".
