Hi Im asking for prayers for my family
Heres the situation..
I have a younger sister I care for shes survived two comas, suffers from brain injuries.
This weekend she had dissapeared for 9 long hours. I had to file a missing persons report. And was in panic mode. After 9 hours of being gone (without her walker, and without shoes) the police brought her to my parents house. Only it wasn't in the best condition, but better then the many scenarios that ran through my mind. She was drunk. :/
Anyways Im asking for prayers for guidance.
I hope theres a quick fix to this all. Shes sadly been in this cycle for 4 years. Ive started to keep her 3 years ago.
I love her far to much to give up on her. I love her to strongly to let her go down this path again.
*i appeiciate all who take the time to read/reply*
God bless you all

I will be praying for both of you Sister.
I suggest you get closer to her and talk to her coz I think she may be upset or depressed or something. Just ask God for guidance and ask her about how she feels and stuff. May God help you care for her and show her His love. God bless

well things kinda have took a turn for the worse :(
for the past 3 or so wks ive been stugging with her cuz shes suddenly got 'mean' ..i get sworn at daily, theres been times shes tried getting physical. i thought i still had it under control. cuz once i spoke to her seriously she stopped and turned back to the nice person she is. my house was peaceful. she was peaceful. then she goes back to treating me badly. only this time no matter the talks she wont stop swearing at me. and it began affecting my daughter. my daughter shouldnt for any reason have to live under theses circumstances. although my sister has a brain injury she has the sense to behave and be nice. there are certain ppl she 'knows' she cant talk to in the way she talks to me.
so myself, my daughter and my sister we were spending the morning making crafts, playing music, having a very good time. when all of sudden she pretends shes gonna punch me. i asked her why and i get sworn at and called names. things escalated quickly, she actually slapped me across the face. my poor daughter was scared crying and hiding because of the yelling and rukus going on.
so this update is to say.. i feel defeated. i feel like i have to throw in the towel for caring for my sister. as hard as tried , it makes me cry. i tried for years to keep her. i never gave up on her and now i feel im going back on my word.
but at the same time, its for my baby's sake. she has all the right in the world to feel safe in her home.
GOD PLEASE KEEP ME STRONG ..AND I PRAY IM MAKING THE RIGHT DECISION*

You are right you are to protect your child, if your sister were to hurt your daughter, child protective services would blame you for putting her in danger. I will pray that God will give you a clear answer.

i feel so defeated though..
through all this God continuisly spoke to me.
i recieved a msg of mercy. felt like i was over reacting and should be more forgiving.
'the battle is already won.. dont pray that i might work this out, but PRAY thanking me 'cause i've already been working it out'
so what would all this mean when i give up , and let her out of my care??

You are the one living in the situation, and I know God will honor you for being so willing to help your sister.
I will ask God to bring to my heart and mind how to pray for you and your sister.
I have been in a simular situation, God hears our cries for help. Mine got better, it just took some time.
