Re: America is Absolutely a Satanic Nation
I happen to be a Satanist and have found it to do nothing but enrich my life in the best of ways. It is very healthy, motivational, and very positive. It most certainly is NOT about killing babies or anyone for that matter. It's not about sacrificing animals to Satan. We don't even believe in Satan as a literal being. We love animals and children and would never harm them. Many Satanist's are actually vegetarian, because they see the benefits of being so. Of course, that is not required.

LaVey was one of the best philosophical thinkers since Nietzsche. A fantastic writer, blending pure wit and intellect with humor and satire.

Get your facts straight.

oh child. you are either for God or against God. You are either a son of God or a son of satan. Only His children will be with Him forever, and those who are not His won't, but take part in the lake of fire with satan and his angels.

John 1:10-12 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

Just remember that every living second you have is a chance to repent and be forgiven. Don't count on tomorrow, you don't know if you'll be here.

Lavey type Satanist I assume?
What is your religious background? Were you raised as a Satanist? Or did you choose to become one? If you chose to become one, why? What made you decide to come here to a Christian based forum? Idle curiosity? Most people here generally don't mind people from other faiths here to debate/discuss things if they're done respectfully.

Anyways, welcome to the forums. Let me know if you want to learn more about the story of St. Christopher, the former devil worshipper. :)

In all honesty, she's 16 according to her profile. I'd wager a guess she's likely just into it for the rebellion/shock value. LaVey Satanism isn't really even Satanism, it's more a hedonistic viewpoint that took the name for shock value. Real Satanists are a bit more.... covert.

*edit*
Not that I'm encouraging her. I still think LaVey Satanism is a very unhealthy spiritual outlook. But I can understand the desire for young adults to strike out on their own and try to rebel. But as I like to point out, throughout Christian history we see people come to Christ from all sorts of backgrounds. St. Mary of Egypt was a notoriously... easy woman. St. Moses the Black was once a bloodthirsty leader of a band of bandits, St. Christopher once worshipped the devil. All three of these saints eventually turned from their ways and embraced the Lord Jesus Christ wholeheartedly. St. Moses the Black eventually went on to be martyred for Christ!

Whether we agree with her views or not I really don't find where singliing her out which we all know will cause her to be somewhat attacked was at all appropriate.

Well, have seen too many miracles in my life to deny Christ. Have a personal relationship with Him ... know He IS and rewards those who diligently seek Him. Also know that He loves you even though you do not believe in Him and choose to serve the god of this world instead. If it all depended on us... no one would be saved. You are 16 years old and I am over 60 years old. You say your "religion" has enriched your life ... but when you are as old as I am I sincerely doubt you will feel the same way as you do now ... even I have grown in knowledge and what I used to believe in has changed as I have matured in my faith and can see God more clearly. I have no doubt you have NOT studied God's word indepth as I have ... nor seen the miracles I have. If you had ... if you had seen the Truth as it has been revealed to me ... you would not say you are a satanist. I pray that you are allowed to see Him as I do... I pray that you are one of the few God has chosen to be an object of His blessing and not be one of the many who are chosen to be objects of God's wrath. I would like to be your forever friend ... but that can only happen if you humble yourself, ask Jesus to forgive you, and invite His spirit to live inside your temple (body) along with your spirit (ie. be born again) ... for only those who live for Christ can enter into His kingdom, the rest will suffer in the firey abyss and be tormented by satan and his demons for eternity. I would not wish this on my worst enemy, and like God wish that all would come to repentance and accept Christ as thier savior. I sincerely pray that your eyes be opened to the TRUTH and accept Christ as the ONLY WAY to salvation and LIVE in Him. AMEN.

Loveschild, at first I thought you were saying that YOU were a Satanist. You shouldn’t scare me like that—I am too old.

Hello Michelle,

I am sorry that you have been spotlighted like this. However, it may be God's way of letting you know that you need help.

Satan is a liar, and the father of lies. Make no mistake, you will not find happiness and peace in following him.

Jesus speaking:
John 14: 27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

John 16: 33 "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Please know that God loves you very much.

Please find a bible believeing church, and talk with someone there about your problem. Through the power of Holy Spirit, they will be able to help you.
Any questions you have, I will be more than happy to try and answer them for you.

God bless

Why was my posts deleted? I thought I said some really good and interesting things that could be discussed in a tame and non-threatening way. I hate lost information with a passion, because nothing ever comes out the same way a second time. Certain details, although seemingly minor, impact the product in such a way...the passion, the art of the way it was spoken. I couldnt re-capture those feelings if I tried. I can try and remember and repost them, but they will come out different.

And I said NOTHING abusive or forceful. Could it have been offensive? Perhaps to some. But that is inevitable. You can't please everyone. And some people have short fuses and get upset way too easily. I cannot be blamed for that. I used no vulgar language. Did not attack anyone. I dont want to be banned or something for speaking my mind.

Anyway, I might try to repost what I can remember. Not sure yet...

Also, a big thanks to Elizabeth619, for being open-minded enough to come to my defense, despite her disagreeing with my views. I truly think that is a remarkable quality. And indeed Christ-like. It sure would probably influence more people to come to Christianity if they were like her. :)

Hi Michelle.

I heard a funny story once. It was about a man who got stranded on an island (I hope I am telling it correctly.) And on this island he built three tents. One was his house, the next was his first church, and the third was his new church!! lol.

This is much like the religion of men.

I will not lead you to Christianity, but if anything to Jesus Christ himself. Because, in the name of Christianity many evil people have done many evil things. Do I say that Christians are bad? No!! But I do know and have witnessed that not everyone who calls themselves a Christian is like Jesus, as you have also witnessed.

The message of Jesus is rooted in this: To love God with all your heart mind and soul and your neighbor as yourself.

But how should we compare this love to some other love?

Imagine if we compared the love of Hitler to the love of Jesus? Which is love? Now we see that love in truth is not by definitions or interpretations of love.

Imagine also that one said to himself, ''I love my wife, so I will kill her.'' Is this love?

If we allow all things to be self-evident, then most everything will become corrupt, because humans are corrupt from birth. But there is one, I have found to not be corrupt in anything, and that truly is Jesus. I haven't found one thing I can accuse him of.

May Jesus bless you.

Oh my dear Michelle part of what you have said is true and Elizabeth is correct in her prognosis of the way we use our Lords power that is given to us in an effort to help those that may not be able to see the truth (God bless you Beth) Forgive us if you feel as though you were scolded it was not done with any malicious intent only to correct you in your aptitude toward our Lord.
