As most of you know, there have been a lot of fires in Texas. My family owns acres in Jefferson which is in the very east of Texas. There was a huge fire headed down towards our house and after 2 days of worrying and praying about it, the fire stopped literally 10 feet away from our front door. Then today, the fire started again but this time headed just about half of less than a mile away from our neighbors. I prayed for 2 days straight to stop it from hitting our house that I didn't pray too much to save the other homes. Now I feel terrible because that's just a vacation home for us and the homes that are in trouble now, they live there and will have nowhere else to go. It'd just be nice to know that other people are out there praying for these people.

Definitely praying. I'm in Texas too. Seeing smoke all along the horizon is frightening indeed. My prayers are with the people in East Texas and around the whole state.

Dont feel guilty, you looked to Jesus and that is His praise!
Praying for all you ask for all there in the fire threat in Jesus Christ is Lord.
