I had been on here for quite a long time everyday, praying for those of you who asked, talking and just having fun.

Then my church Pastor left us. I just sank like a stone.
I relied on him. I knew that every Sunday, I would get my spiritual tank overfilled with joy and the Holy Spirit.

I had never been to a service where my old Pastor was, that the Holy Spirit wasn't present and obvious.

When he left our church suddenly, the devil saw his opportunity to make me believe that our Pastor had taken the Holy Spirit with him. The services just weren't the same.

It took me quite awhile, but God made me realize that the Holy Spirit is still available to me, all I have to do is ask. I miss my old Pastor, but God didn't leave the church, just a wonderful God filled man. God is still with me, and still at our church.

The services may be a lot different, but God is still there and if I listen, He will still speak to me.

Please pray that God will send a Spirit filled man of God to our church soon to be our permanent Pastor.

I know now that God is always willing to fill us with His Holy Spirit, we can't depend on others to always meet our needs.

May God give us wisdom to know He is always near, in Jesus name, Amen.

Love in Jesus Christ

This is a very sad thing I have seen also. This is what I have seen, that people ought not to worship a Pastor, but every man must have his OWN personal relationship with God. This is so important!!

The Lord has kept me from all of this sort of thing because I have put Jesus first above and foremost before EVERY MAN, me included. Many people get offended at this, and this is what I have seen as a big thing that will hinder me from reaching some, this order of tradition.

But you are a witness now of the Truth. The Lord has snatched you out also like he did me. Now you can seek to worship him as he desires. Don't wait for another spirit filled man, BE the Spirit filled man.

May Jesus bless you.

sinnomore, no apoligies needed, Jesus is bringing a good work in you.
I know it may seem a hard task, but Jesus wants His Holy Spirit in you always, not just when another is there.
Praying for you in this in Jesus Christ is Lord that His Holy Spirit will be always presant in your life no matter where or what is there. :)

God bless.

Amen to that Ramon. This sounds like a church that uses the pastor as a crutch, rather
than the church being the pillar that holds up the pastor [to exhortation and sound
teaching].

SinNoMore, perhaps this IS the spirit working in the church. A wakeup call to take the
body to a more mature level and to more personal responsibility. Take this as an
opportunity to edify and encourage one another, and to take action to set up more small
group bible study and outreach activiti
es -- in so doing may you find great blessings.

I'm sorry that your pastor has left, and I don't know if you already do this or not, but I feel the Holy Spirit best when I pray at home. I sometimes light a candle and I always make sure it is quiet. Being alone in a room with God is when I feel closest to Him.

God bless.

Hello Brother Gary

Thank you for the sincere sharing.

You are very blessed to have a Pastor whom you can relate and look up to, and I am sure he has made an impact in your life and blessed you tremendously. This is a great opportunity to thank God every time you think of him.

It reminds me of my own experience when as a young Christian, my dynamic pastor was kicked out of the Church by the majority of the ruling Elders. Most of us cried and cried. He was a mentor and leader and brought so much joy to us. The Church went through a hard time; many left, there were divisions, many not so nice words were hurled and exchanged. As for me, I couldn't bear to react negatively, so I left to find another church.

But more important, I learned and grew through the experience. God will send a Spirit filled Pastor to your Church. In the meantime, I am sure God has also prepared something unique and challenging for you too. I am sure your Pastor has invested in you enough so that you will continue to be a blessing to your Church members!
