Heavenly Father,
Thank You for protecting us during the holiday season. I pray for Your covering over everyone going from place to place. Please let our travels be guarded by Your angels and hold us in Your hands.
Give people revelation of Your Son this Christmas. Help people not to drink and drive. Give them peace and let them know it's from You and how to get more through Christ. Let Your peace calm the storms in their lives so they won't turn to alcohol, or anything else, to drown out the noise this Christmas or, prayerfully, from this point on.
Lead them beside the still waters and into green pasture. Lead them in the paths of righteousness for Your names sake. Bring families together and let their hearts be drawn toward each other in Love. Pour out Your Holy Spirit and I pray for new hearts to be given out this Christmas, Lord. New hearts that have the character and strength to do good and to stand firm when you break the back and teeth of addiction and poverty from Your people. Give people the courage to pray with their families and to give You thanks for everything in their lives.
Lead us all not into temptation, deliver us from evil, let us not be deceived, help us to love what you love and to hate what you hate. I intercede with Christ for everyone that may be calling out to You during this season. Answer them quickly Lord I pray. Send help, quickly. Thank You for all of Your help and for hearing us and answering us according to Your Word. In Jesus Name, Amen.
