OK So I am going to a party tonight for my high school friends. I am always the odd person out. I don't drink, smoke, cuss, gossip or trash talk people. I love my friends and at all these gatherings I try to be a light for the Lord and just love them, but I am often made fun of - and we are all at least 40 years old! I have no one standing next to me to defend me but I know I am standing on the rock. I just feel I need to be covered in prayer to go tonight so that I am able to handle the sarcasm and comments. I know what it's like to be in the world and I know my friends love me but they don't have HIS love and are not able to show it. I am praying for them, can you all just please pray for me.

God BLess you and thank you to the faithful CC prayer warriors out there who read these and respond.

Heavenly Father,

I lift this gathering up to You tonight. I stand with her in her prayers for herself and the people in her life. Give cozy Your words, strength, and courage I pray. Let people be responsive and receiving toward any words that will prepare the ground for Christ. Let them know Your love and acceptance and perfect Love in all of our hearts. Let them grow to love what You love and hate what You hate. In Jesus Name, Amen.
