I am also going through stuff and have prayed so hard for certain things with no results. However slowly I am starting to see the silver lining in some things. I have been told over and over it takes time. That is a hard thing to do to set and wait for results when we want them instantly. He is listening but may know whats best in the long run. One day you will sit back and understand why things happened the way they did and be able to see how he worked it out for the best.

Claim the Lord Jesus as your righteousness. Read the Bible and claim Him all the way through what you read. He will be Your Way through the water of the Word.
If there is any evil fruit that causes you to doubt that you are right with God by faith in Christ, take this fruit to a brother or sister in Christ in confession. Talk to the Lord about it with a witness, ask Him to forgive you, and He will. He will remove the weight and replace it with His grace.
Concerning confession: I don't necessarily agree with everything that CBN teaches, but, they do have a great prayer line that the Lord has used many times to help me during my walk. You can look it up online.
When you claim Christ's righteousness as your own, you are walking in faith. This faith will bear works of love, by God's power and His Holy Spirit. When you make His righteousness your own, standing only on Him, your prayers will be the prayers of a righteous man [woman], and they will be answered.
Jas_5:16 ...The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

thanks to all of you that are trying to help this backslider get back on track....i woke up blue this mornig missing my husband and crying, not knowing what is going to happen to him when he go to court is hard..i have prayed and ask for Gods help..sometimes my faith is ok but then sometimes i wonder why would he help me...the only thing good came out of this is now my husband is saved and i gave my life back over to the Lord..the longer my husband is away the more the devil comes after me hard..and i dont understand...i havent gave up and i want to beleive my husband will be home on the 17th...but i dont want to be disapointed or hurt if he dont..
As Christians at some point we have to try and take an honest stand for Christ and an honest look at our lives and live a good moral life. It's challenging but not impossible. If we stumble we just have to get back up and try again. Thats' all we can do. Dear lord please help him to keep trying amen.
