My husband is currently in the hospital because of mental illness (which you may have read in my thread in the Bible discussion area).

When he went into the hospital he was not at all lucid. The few times I've called, he was just as confused and uncomprehending. Today, when I called, he was more lucid.

Anyways, please pray for him. He was very despondent when I talked to him. He needs deliverance from this illness. Plus he's facing the fact that he's not going to be living here anymore, so I'm sure he feels very alone. He has no other real family (a brother and sister that he has no contact with) and has lost touch with most of his friends in the past few years due to isolating himself.

I can almost feel how lonely he must feel right now. Despite the pain he has caused me over the years, I feel absolutely horrible for him right now.

Please pray for peace for him and deliverance from demons / mental illness.

Also, my whole family could use prayers. My mom goes for cancer surgery next week, and things aren't looking to good for her with that. My dad needs a hip replacement, but keeps putting it off because of what's going on with my mom -- but I think the pain is absolutely wearing him down.

And of course, my two children are having to deal with this whole situation with their dad and I'm sure they're confused and sad about the whole thing.
